[TOPIC] 9 [Stats] N=60 | Source=../data/original/reviews.tab (1) Really enjoyed visiting Tanah Lot and especially for sunset. Was stunning views, got some great photos to take home for memories.\nThere is also some markets here prior to heading to the temple area. (2) Tanah Lot is expensive and one can't get into the temple. You pay for the parking and for an entrance fee to just access a nice path along the coast. The temple is in a rock and it is closed to the tourist. You don't really need to pay money for walking along the cost.\nI don't know if the temple is nice but the hassle to buy sarongs, coconut shells,t-shirts and hundred of ugly things is not worth the trip. (3) No words to say... You have to see this place personaly. Tanah lot is awesome place on the seahore. Beautiful wiews and experience. (4) Known for its unique Offshore setting \TanahLot\" is an ancient Hindu Sea Temple. Large waves consistently crashes its rock base and forms the place for Tourist Attraction. Its best view is Sunset. The Temple in particular is closed for Tourists.\n\nUber is not allowed to travel up to Tanah Lot." (5) My partner and I are staying in Legian so it took us two hours by taxi to get to Tanah Lot and back. This cost us 400,000 IDR plus a parking fee for the taxi to wait for us at Tanah Lot as the town surrounding it is not a massive tourist area so would be hard to organise transport back to the hotel. Entry into Tanah Lot is only 60,000 IDR (roughly $6) each. You have to walk past many stalls before getting to the temple. There are even signs directing you 'directly' to the temple which takes you on a longer route to get to the temple just so you go past more stalls. Once reaching the temple, the view is breath-taking. It really is a rare sight and is magnificent. However I was very disappointed as you do not get to go to the top of Tanah Lot Temple. At the bottom of the temple you donate money to be blessed after which you are allowed to walk up about 10 steps and are stopped by a gate and guard. There was also many tourists there, trying to navigate around each other proved to be difficult. We arrived at Tanah Lot around 1pm in the afternoon and it was busy - would hate to think what it would be like around sunset! Both my partner and I could not wait to get out of there. Overall the view was stunning however I would not recommend to anyone to pay as much as we did to see it - it looks exactly the same as it does in the photos. If you're willing to hire a scooter for roughly 50,000 IDR per day and drive it yourself up there, then maybe it would be worth the trip. But I would not go there again. (6) I like this place, its my first time for sunset !!\n\nBeside you enter the Tanah Lot main attraction, you will pass by a market where a lot of stalls and shops. You can do some shopping here if you have plenty of times. Do remember, must bargain if you want to buy from them.\n\nIt’s amazing, I like this place very much. It’s a sea where the Tanah Lot temple is located at the left of the sea and the Pura batu Bolong is located on the right. Both are very near to each other.\n\nI initially went to the left part, Tanah Lot Temple to take photo first. There was 5.30pm and the high tide is started hence unable to walk over to the Tanah Lot Temple, just can take photo there. Well, never mind because the scenery really very beautiful, you can take a lot of nice photos here.\n\n After that we walked to the right side. There was another Hindu temple called Pura batu Bolong. It is within walking distance. You can walk over if you want if not you can like us, find a nice and windy place first before the sunset start. \n\nThe sunset time is 6.00 to 6.30pm.All tourists are waiting for sunset together .When 6.30pm, the sun almost fully sank in , something suddenly happen and attracted all tourists. Well, can’t tell you here if not it’s won’t surprise you. I really shocked by these……. . I guessed we found a very nice place for sunset. We can see this very clear and its all come out below the place we sat. (7) Tanah Lot is one of the most beautiful temples in the island. It's location by the sea is really impressive. An ideal place to enjoy breath-taking scenery of sunset in the ocean. A must see site of Bali (8) After seeing quite a few temples our final destination of the day was this famous temple located inside the sea - a small island like as during low tide we can walk to this island. When I visited last time due to tide we could not go to the island but this time luckily we could wade in low tide and we drank holy water (fresh/spring water) in the midst of the sea! The shore side is well maintained and from there we can see the beautiful scenery of the Tanah Lot temple and nearby seashore. This place is a must when you come to Bali. You can spend leisurely and enjoy the beauty of Bali in the evening. (9) It has an amazing landscape, definitely worth a visit. Tanah Lot temple looks different during high tide and low tide. You can walk to the temple when it is low tide. If you want to watch the beautiful sunset and fire dance, be there around 5.30pm but expect a huge crowd. (10) Tanah Lot Temple.\nGreat attraction to visit in Bali.\nCost to enter into all attractions.\nWalk across the ocean with guides helping across the water.\nAmazing location .\nLots of people, still worth the visit.\nLots of tour buses.Expected the attraction to be busy due to the water & great views.\nGood in morning, or late afternoon for visit. (11) Stopped by Tanah Lot after a long day to watch the sunset. Car park was packed and people everywhere but we still got a table overlooking the temple to watch the sunset behind it. \nWas nice to visit and say I’ve been there but isn’t a place I will be raving about to friends. (12) I hadn’t been to Tanah Lot for over 20 years and I must say it was worth going again. Got some great photos! (13) I visit Tanah Lot many times. I love it! We can get the most beautiful sunset picture here, with the temple separated from the main land due too high tide. We can walk to the temple when low tide as there is a land connecting the temple side. (14) It’s definitely one of the most scenic backdrops to a temple I’ve seen. Much more lovely than Tanah Loy IMHO. Best time to visit is sunset. And watch out for the monkeys. (15) Tanah Lot grounds are already full of tourists and shops, and is in danger of being over developed compared to other attractions in Bali.\n\nIt does offer awesome views, though. The grounds are good for strolling, or even laying out a mat/ shawl over the grass while eating local snacks like krupuk or fruits.\n\nTry to jockey for viewing space, especially as the sun sets. It is pretty amazing as the sun's rays hits the sea. The clouds open up, and it is almost like you can expect angels to descend (yes, it is that beautiful).\n\nI would give a higher rating, except there are places in the island that offer a better view without having to deal with the crowds. (16) Beautiful you can spend a whole day here the scenery is gorgeous ,local shops , local food very authentic if you have to choose between Ulawatu temple or Tanah lot I would recommend you visit Tanah lot simply breathtaking . if you are lucky & early you can manage to walk across to the temple (17) Tanoh lot is the top most tourist attraction in Bali .This Temple for the Ocean of Hindu looks stunning and you can find many many tourists busy with taking photos and also selfies. (18) We took a day trip with Best Bali Tours with Tanah Lot the end point. Both the natural setting and spiritual vibe were quite appealing. As with most parts of Bali, you have to overlook the commercialism and accept that locals need to make a living. For example, most day trips will take you to 'artisan workshops' with 20% tour and 80% sales. Our Private Guide Oka was very friendly, a skilled driver and a knowledgeable communicator. (19) Before I came to this place I was always of the opinion that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. However post coming her I guess I can successfully claim that it here are some places which will be liked by all irrespective of your perspective. \n\nTannah Lot temple was a 1 hour drive from Kuta where I was residing. The entry fees was 30000 IDR. THE entry to the temple is through a nice looking gate and you pass through a a flea market till you reach the entry point to the attraction with your eyes getting wide open and jaws opening up automatically. The beauty of the place is magnificent. A series of waves keeps on coming hitting the rocks on the shore and dancing up high. The entry to the temple is not allowed for Non Hindus. Even the Hindus who are not locals have to wear the prescribed dress to enter here. \n\nOn the other side of the Tannah Lot temple is Pura Buta Bolomg temple. While you can enter it up to a certain point, the view of the sea is simply mind blowing. If you pass the point you will find even a series of staircase going down to the beach. Worth a visit to the White soft sands. \n\nTo me it's the best place to visit in Bali. It's also famous for fascinating sunsets, thus preferably time it for the afternoon. 5 PM would be an ideal time to reach here \n\nSent from my iPad (20) Tanah Lot was beautiful but too crowded even during non-peak hours, but the best time to go should be around late afternoon before sunset where the temple would appear floating to make it at least worth the visit. (21) The long and winding road me & my friends took to get to this place was really worth the while. Tanah Lot is so scenic, has very pleasant atmosphere, and surely perfect place to visit for all the sunset worshiper. The construction is very simple yet so spectacular. A lot of great spots to take selfie :p\n\nThe Temple sits on a huge offshore rock which has been shaped endlessly by the ocean tide. You can walk to the temple only at low tide, there is a path down to the sea. But if you are not Balinese, you’re not allowed to enter the temple.\n\nAside from its mesmerizing view, the Temple of Tanah Lot has interesting history, culture, and religious thing. I heard Balinese people believe that the temple is still guarded by sea snake which created from Nirartha’s scarf (he is one of the 15th century priests). You can still see that are many caves under the rock, full of sea snakes.\n\nThere's a place full of green grass where you can rest, sit together and wait for the sunset. You can have your meal here, but please don't litter. The place is too beautiful. Bring your own trash bag or simply put your litter to the garbage can there.\n\nI bought some souvenirs from the market place near the Temple. The price is a bit high compared to the souvenir place in the city, but still affordable. Choose the very unique one, that you think you won't find it in the city.\n\nI want to visit again! :) (22) A bit disappointed by Tanah lot. Cool to see and a stunning sunset however you are not allowed into the temple. I was expecting something spiritual but I was let down. Everything here is set up to extort money from tourists and there is little to no feeling of religion or spiritually here. I mean a Ralph Lauren as you walk in? Give me a break. I've been to plenty of temples around the world and have always been allowed in at least to some extent. They give you a blessing in the cave beneath the temple and then demand a \donation\". They made my friend pay to go to the bathroom... Yikes. Again, it is a stunning place to see but I wouldn't go in with the expectation of having a truly profound experience more like visiting any other tourist attraction." (23) Tanah lot temple the place at the ocean and around of temple have green snack to protected from bad spirit (24) Experienced an amazing sunset at Tanah lot temple. Interesting location as temple was situated on a separate rock from the mainland. Go there around 5 and just enjoying the sound of splashing waves until the sunsets . There's a guy with a holy snake in one of the caves . Just give small donation to meet the snake . If you want to shop for souvenirs go early around 4 or 5 pm. Just after sunset everyone goes back home. By 7pm the streets are empty. (25) We arrived in Tanah Lot at noon. There were many people, both tourists and locals. It is a wide space with lots of shade. It has a great view of the sea and a cool sea breeze. (26) One of the most memorable sunset that you can ever get in Bali is at Tanah Lot. I have been here on several occasions before but this time the trip to the temple is the worst as the traffic is jammed for most part of the journey. You should make preparations to be earlier as traffic can be very bad. Still it is a beautiful temple. (27) I arrived at Pura Tanah Lot at 7am when it opened and none of the vendors were open yet so it was quite peaceful. There were a lot of tourists from Java but it wasn't nearly as crowded as I can imagine it would be at sunset. \nThe temple itself is beautiful - as is Pura Batu Bolong which is just north of Tanah lot and worth walking up too. \nThere isn't a lot of information about the temple round (that I could see). (28) If you are someone who loves clicking some scenic pictures then this place is definitely for you.\nWe had spoken to a private driver \Made\". The driver “Made” pronounced as Maadey, came to pick us up at the hotel right on time. I love the Balinese respect of other people’s time. He is super polite and respectable and has a wealth of information (Whats app +6282145698388) . He also speaks very good english, which is a bonus.\n\nWe were supposed to check out of our hotel in Kuta and checkin into a hotel in Ubud. After that we Made took us to a beautiful restaurant call Teba Sari. From here we reached the Tanha lot temple just before sunset. \n\nThe place feels completely surreal. Best time to visit is in the evenings. It was low tide when we reached so we could approach the rock on which the temple sits. \"Made\" our driver had given us some pointers as to where to take the best pics from. We did manage to capture some spectacular snaps of this place. \nDefinitely worth a visit. Get in touch with \"Made\" before you leave from India on whatsapp to fix an itinerary. \nThe only down side is the exorbitant ticket price of 80000 IDR for Adults and 60000 IDR for children below 12 at the time of writing this review.\n\nRecommended to visit this place in the evening before sunset." (29) \How did they do that? Putting a temple on top of a rock?\"\nI've been wondering the same question over the years but yeah, however the old locals did that, thanks. It's an awesome work done!\nSlippery grounds so always be careful. \nIf you have extra time, do pay a visit to the holy temple underneath the real holy temple for blessings (long queue always). Otherwise, there's two or three holy snakes on the opposite side of the temple (also underneath the rock) where the locals believe they are the guardians of Tanah Lot temple. Donate some monies to get blessings, why not? \nLadies out there, don't miss out the chance to shop at the market outside Tanah Lot, it's cheap and cheapest among all \"must see\" places in Bali. You'll feel like an evil to bargain over the ridiculously cheap price they offered. \nWill I be back again? Definitely." (30) We were told that Tanah Lot is the temple which is the most photographed temple at sunset . It is true this could be the most magic moment of your life. We were lucky to see it. \nYou should come there at least 1 hour before to have time first to visit \cave\" with \"holy\" water - there could be queue. \nAfter that go to some pub/restaurant on the hill close to the temple, order some drink and wait for magic..." (31) Tanah Lot is one of the best places to watch the beautiful sunset in Bali Island.\n\nIf you would like to see a nice beautiful sunset in Tanah Lot then come to visit in the afternoon time. Don’t forget to check the weather before planning to make a day tour to Tanah Lot. (32) There are quite some good temples in south east Asia and even Bali so in comparison there's nothing special. Tanah Lot temple and the temples in the north are much better.\n\nAlso, its too touristy. Average place (33) Don't said u have go to Bali if you're not visit Tanah lot . a temple built on top of big Rock, most sacred temple for Hindu people, nice sea view, nice temple, clean environment, stunning view, must view (34) We reached Bali and the first thing we visited was the Tanah lot temple. We were so tired from the journey but when our guide/driver Agus made a plan and took us to Tanah lot we were so refreshed and amazed seeing the wonderful place. We forgot our tiredness and it was like a nice beginning we felt like Bali has given us a good welcome😍👌🏻\nI love Bali ...👌🏻Good Bali Driver you are doing good job your staff is very good👍🏻 (35) If you go to Bali and miss out going to Tanah Lot then you've really missed something. It's unique and there are lots and lots of little market shops to buy from and the prices are very reasonable. (36) We hired a scooter and hit the road, we didn't have a destination in mind we just followed the road and the beautiful surroundings. We happily found Tanah Lot and decided to stop here for afternoon tea and a look around the temple and grounds.\nThere are plenty of places here to eat. We parked the scooter out the back near the entrance but noticed there is plenty of parking closer to the temple. \nThe temple itself is very pretty to look at, as are the grounds. Huge waves pummel the cliffs and volcanic rock features. \nThere was a big snake that you can wear and have some selfies with, if you're into near death experiences (just kidding, but it felt like one). \nThere are also markets and lots of scenic areas to relax.\nYou need to pay an entry fee to enter, plus a fee for your vehicle if driving/riding in. (37) Pura Tanah Lot is one of the most visited temple in Bali, with unique offshore setting, natural rock formations and stunning sunset backdrop. The temple built for sailors, stands at the junction of sea and low cliffs. You can go till the temple stairs and walk along the sea line, but only during low tides. Entry inside the temple is only for native balinese.\n\nThere is another temple, right towards Tanah Lot, known as Pura Enjung Galuh. It is as beautiful as Tanah lot and stands on a cliff arc.\n\nTry visiting at Sunset, and keep atleast an hour, if interested in walking around the sea shore and enjoying the view. Plan accrdingly as reaching here from Kuta-Seminayak can take time due to traffic and narrow roads. (38) Tanah Lot is a natural wonder. It's made more interesting as a visitor can only fully explore the Temple & it's surroundings when the tide goes down.\nHence, the most important factor in your planning to visit this attraction is to check the time of the tides.\n\nWe visited when the tide was low. the area from the shore till the temple was 99.99% dry, as in not submerged in water, save for a few small depressions of coupe of cm of sea water.\n\nThe rock surface and rock structures are blackened (not sure why).\nI especially liked and appreciate very much the striations on the sides of the rock stumps & the rock walls of the temple and the stairs leading up to the temple.\n\nThere are a few spots to take some nice shots.\n#1: By the side of the temple, with the sea with rough waves as background\n#2: Take of note of the small pool puddles, as you may be able to get a nice reflection of the subject in your photo\n#3: The raging waves is a nice video of sorts \n#4: Along the sides of the stairs to the temple, you can also snap some nice pics\n\nTo get to the steps of the temple, you need to go through \a ceremony of sorts\".\nThe caretakers (or priests ??) persuade you to drink \"holy water\" and dab you with some rice on your forehead.\nI gather this is a form of respect before walking up the steps of the temple.\n\nWhen we were there end June 2017, the temple door was locked.\nNot sure if there were some maintenance works being done or due to some other reason.\n\nRegardless, the sight of Tanah Lot is clearly a sight to behold ... yet another work-of-art by/from Mother Nature.\n\nDo take a visit .. before the sea erodes all of it .. although that will take some time.\n\n**** most important again .. is to check on the tide times before heading to Tanah Lot ****" (39) Although the drive to tanah lot from Semniyak is long, along the way one will see beautiful rice fields and loads of greenery. \nOnce there, the mesmerizing surroundings of the tanah lot temple the beautiful rugged landscape and the oh, not to be missed sunset, sends one into a blissful peacefully enhanced journey of solitude!! (40) What an extraordinary temple. Truly not to be missed, and easily doable on a day trip from Ubud or the south Bali beaches. If you could visit only one temple, I’d chose Tanah Lot, the setting on the sea is truly breath-taking. Send the day there, have lunch, buy some souvenir, drink luwak (civet coffee) and enjoy sunset, too, why not. You will not be disappointed, or else Bali is not for you. (41) Tanah lot is one of the awesome temples in bali. You shouldnt miss ;)\nAlso the souvenir shops around there are far cheaper than in the city centres. do not forget to bargain though :) (42) Great landscape with the Tanah's Lot temple. It is a must see in Bali. We were so impressed. Lot of people in the afternoon. We went there in the morning and wasn't so crowded as in the afternoon. People go there to see the sunset, but there are better places to see the sunset, for example Jimbaran or Gili Air. (43) Tanah lot temple is one of the best places to visit in Bali. We could see the effect of waves on the shape of rock. Tourist are not allowed to enter the temple, however visit to Tanah lot is a must. (44) The markets dotted along the way before you get the glorious views and the Tanah Lot temples is great. Expect to be hassled but then that is all part and parcel of the experience although I have to say compared to Kuta or Seminyak where they can be a bit more ruthless locals along this way are not too bad.\nThe views are spectacular and dipping your toes in the water as you cross to drink the Holy Water and then be blessed by the Holy Men is an experience and quite enlightening. Take in the views by sitting and sipping a cold cocktail or Bintang at one of the delightful clifftop bar/ cafes.\nWe loved the gardens to the right of Tanah Lot and if you get there early enough you can eat the cuisines being made on sight by the locals and have an impromptu picnic. (45) This is a must if you visit Bali. A beautiful temple on the coast with stunning views. We visited Tanah Lot around 2pm. It was a very hot day and very busy with tourists. Lots of guides and people selling stuff. (46) We loved visiting Tanah Lot as a family. The tide was out so we got to walk across and see the natural spring and receive the blessing from the Hindu priests. It's a magical place and certainly worth a visit. Great walking pathways amazing views. Plenty of tourist shops too. (47) Tanah Lot Temple is not just any temple. The beautiful sunset view is what makes the place so appealing. The temple is on a cliff and most of the temples in Bali are not allowed to be entered and are more of tourist spots.\nThis temple is at the edge of a cliff and down there flows the beach waters sending cool breeze in evening. The breeze and sound of water reaching the shores is amazing. While in evening you see colours of sky being reflected on the waters of beach. The water seems pink, orange, blue and a mix of all this. The sky and colour of water during sunset is all like a wonderful painting.\nFor photo lovers, you'd get tired but the spots for photographs won't get over. \nPleasant, beautiful and a perfect place to visit with your loved ones.\nIn spite of roaming around the place for around 2 hours we thought it was not enough. But after it gets dark you cannot stay around.\nFor those who are shopoholics, again a wonderful place. There are so many stall outside, at the parking areas, everywhere! Seach the lot and you are bound to find something unique at very cheap rates!\nJust carry a camera and be ready to have some amazing pictures for life!! (48) Visiting Tanah Lot put a tick against one of my bucket list items. This beautiful temple, carved out of rock in the ocean is inaccessible for much of the day when the tide is high. Many people visit at sunset but we chose to go during the day when the tide was low and we could walk out to the temple. There is a natural spring in the base of the temple and the water is considered Holy Water by the priests. We were able to cleanse in this water and were blessed by the temple priests. Donations are requested \nThe view is amazing, the temple itself spectacular. You can’t go up into the temple, the hundreds of years of pounding waves are doing their damage and now only the temple staff go up there for ceremonies. \n\nWell worth a visit if you’re in Bali. We had a driver for the day from Seminyak. Quite easy to do, just make sure you know where you want to go otherwise you may be taken to places the driver gets a kickback. (49) Tanah Lot is a Hindu temple located at the shore of Tabanan Regency, district of Kediri. Due to abrasive activity of the Indian Ocean sea wave the temple looks like offshore. The government of bali put a concrete barrier to reduce the abrasive wave. Usually tourist visit this for sunset followed by watching Kecak Dance at the west side of the temple (50) After a long day of tours we finished up at Tanah Lot Temple. It is a beautiful setting, although was clouded so we didn't get a sunset, which was disappointing but nothing can help it. Very popular tourist attraction so many people around. Often hard to get photos without people walking through your shot. A few market stalls and vendors here to purchase items. Beautiful view which would be lovely even during the day. As we were going for the sunset it got dark soon after so we didn't hang around. (51) Best tourist attraction of bali. We went to tanah lot for sunset on the last day. Before this bali seemed to be over hyped tourist destination but my view changed after visiting this place. (52) Tanah Lot Temple is located along a picturesque coast in the Island of Bali. Walk along the boardwalk while watching the magnificent temple and the waves that hit the cliff. There is also a place for a holy water and even a holy snake. Be surprised with the different cuisines at the nearby restaurants while you enjoy the fantastic sunset. (53) Although this is, like Tanah Lot, one of the most photographed temples in Bali it is still worth the trip to see it 'in the flesh'. It was smaller than I expected, and of course there were plenty of people there to share the view, but the setting and the simplicity of the building itself made it a special place to visit. There was restoration work going on at some of the surrounding buildings so not all the area was open when we were there, but it was quite pleasant to just wander around the waterfront and the garden area away from the temple and most of the other visitors, and find lots of interesting 'photo ops'. (54) Tanah Lot Temple is a beautiful place. The tides are strong and rough, it was peaceful to listen to the sound of the waves. Even watching them soothes my mind. The places is not as overcrowded as expected and there were only a moderate number of people. Expect to take lots of beautiful photos of the ocean view! \n\nThere are parts where tourist are forbidden to enter, so do be careful where you go. \n\nIn conclusion, I recommend everyone to go here once! (55) I have visited tanah lot many times, amazing rock temple, pay entry ticket, enjoy sunset, shopping balinesse crafted gifts, stunning view for photo. (56) Tanah Alot was certainly the highlight of our intrepid journey. We spent the afternoon there gazing at the temple across the low tide. There was an abundance of tourist floating around and locals quick to make a buck. We didn't get to see the sunset but a photograph of the temple and surrounding scenery made for a lasting memory and one too take home. We have been privileged to venture out to the further west point of Bali. A story to share with family and friends. (57) We booked a private driver from seyminiak to go to Tanah Lot (300 000 rupiah). We left seyminiak at 4pm and arrive at 5pm to see the temple (entrance fees : 30 000). We stayed there 1hour to see the temple which is a very nice spot and to look at the sunset. \nUnfortunately we were surrounding by tourists taking selfies and talking loudly so it's pretty hard to enjoy the view properly... (58) The place: an island ashore where you can walk to during the day when the water is low.\n\nThe experience: too crowded, we went during low season. 1 big temple, 2 smaller ones and some nice cliffs.\n\nPros:\n- great place to visit for sunset. From the cliffs you can get a hold off some magnificant scenery.\n- unique place, walk to the island when the water is low (no bridge)\n\nCons:\n- the walk to the temple comes with many markets and tons of tourists. Getting a picture without any photo bombers is almost impossible. \n- lady with her textile stall, before enter ing the gate inside isnt too kind. 70.000 rupiah for an umbrella not negotiable.\n- the main attraction, the temple, wasn 't accesable due to some ritual that took place at that moment. Lasted from 3 pm till at least 7 pm the time that we left. \n\nMy conclusion, there are plenty other places where you can see the sun set. Tanah lot is nice, just not worth it if you travel from a far. Def not worth a half day tour if you planned it. (59) If you are going to Bali you must visit Tanah Lot. I simply stood there and said, \Wow\". It was an awesome sight to see a temple surrounded by water and the many tourists gazing with admiration at this exceptional piece of architecture. The markets that are lined up within the walkway to the temple is reminiscent of a movie scene. You can buy food, clothing, souvenirs and anything that catches your eye in this kaleidoscopic marketplace." (60) Tanah lot is home to pilgrimage temple Pura Tanah Lot, a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography. The temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.\nIts a very beautiful site to see, and the sunset is very beautiful (if you can catch it, lot of time the area surrounds by thick fog)
