(1) nice place to see at sunset but sooooo many people and loads of buses! big queues to get out. took ages to get out of there after the sun went down.
(2) Didn't really like this place, full of dust and Chinese tourists.. would probably be better at sunset and with less people
(3) This is the first time weve visited this area and have to say this place was well worth the trip.\nWe had a magnificent meal experience overlooking the beautifully presented and maintained feature.\nOne down side is that there isnt an over abundance of parking spots.
(4) Go there for the sunset, beautiful view! If you go by taxi, make a deal with the driver so that he waits for you there, it is not easy to find cabs around at night
(5) Was a gr8 day sister loved it. Heaps of videos and pics taken. Definitely worth a all day trip around Ubud.
(6) Very nice place to spend 1 or 2 hours. Its clean and safe. I wish there were more things to do inside, as we dedicated a day, but in an hour we were done.
(7) Ive seen lots of photos that people have taken where the area is crowded but when we visited it wasnt busy at all. Maybe a handful of people there. The sunset was a nice spot and was busier. Id say a lot of the photos online make it seem more impressive but as we went twice itll all depend on the tide and how the waves crash against the rock.\n\nId return to show friends and watch the sunset again.
(8) Compared to others in Bali this is not one of my favourites. It isn't over crowded but you can't walk along it barefoot without getting stabbed by something.
(9) This is my definition of a tourist trap. It is not very expensive but you do not have much to look at that you can't see out on the street.
(10) At first me and my friends was very excited to see this place. But, when I was arrived there. I don't know why. I lost my interest suddenly. I didnt excited to explore the place . its just an average place to see. But if u want to see it just go there, it was nice to see at first. But I'm unsure I will go there again in the future
(11) Its not a bigh sight but when something is in harmony and done with such taste you can spend hours....we stayed in Candidasa and went there witih a motorbike...Its very close...you can bathe buth its very cold and you should be aware that for woman our western bikinis arent really apropriate but you can if you dont care ...there is a beautifull and good restaurant with a wiev on all the pallace so you can enjoy....we were lucky, there werent many people so the atmosphere was relaxing...
(12) Absolutely breath taking view,, there is lots of walking so make sure you wear good shoes.\nThe stairs are up hill so it can be difficult for some people.\n\nBe careful of the monkeys though don't wear sunglasses as they might take them.\n\nYou will be able to take lots of great photos though, best time is to go at sunset.\n\nWorth a visit!
(13) Its a great place to be there . difficult to reach but when u get there its a worth place to be .\nSuch a natures bliss .
(14) We had a personalised tour from a very entertaining and informative man who made us laugh as well as gave us some amazing history. It was very busy on the day we were there but it was also tranquil and relaxing.
(15) Worth visiting & probably the best in Bali. Stunning location at the edge of the ocean...a sunset to remember!! Walkable distance from the car park and easy for children & seniors. We reached by 3.30 & left the place at 6.45pm after sunset. Lots of souveneir shops around. Due to traffic congestion it took more than an hour to reach and almost 2 hours on the return.
(16) Beautiful place to visit. Should not miss while visiting Bali. If you want to good photos visit during morning hours. If you go in the evening only sunset photos you will get. You can spend half day in this place.
(17) Beautiful sunset...stunning a must to see....food excellent people outstanding.....plenty of markets nearby ....kids will love this place .great for a stop for a drink or two
(18) the best time to visit is in the afternoon, the less crowd, the best time to enjoy the scenery especially the sunset
(19) A beautiful place to see the sunset. There is a lot of people there so i would recommend to go early in the afternoon.
(20) Great visit, with guide , we took amazing pictures, and to end up theshow and dance show was very nice
(21) Amazing and really recomended place to visit..specialy when we are going to climb the volacano to see a beautyful sunrise.
(22) With highly overpriced tickets, hundreds of awful souvenir shops and swarms of tourists, the place doesn't really offer much. Not even a good photo opportunity. If you're after calm, spiritual atmosphere - don't go there.
(23) Love Bali - great family area\nloved my first trip to Bali and all that it had to offer\nsafe\nbeware of currency exchange booths
(24) For sure depends u what u like. But for me this is a great place for taking photo especially. Enterence fee 30K rp. Easiy to find. Definitly worth if u are around Uluwatu
(25) This is one of the best places to visit in Bali. Great and peaceful place to visit. Lovely views and architecture is amazing to see. Must see place.
(26) The location is quite good. Nice view at sun set. The show is not that good and must be missed. Average place.
(27) Words and pictures cant do justice to describe the beauty of this place. The dramatic waves with beautiful pink sunset sky.
(28) Was great to have locals looking after tourists bringing out drinks making sure your enjoying yourselves.
(29) Beautiful place but sadly unable to appreciate with 2 hours long rain keeping everyone indoors at the restaurant. Hopefully the rain clears soon else it will be such a waste to travel so far without taking in the sights .
(30) As one of the oldest spot in Bali. It's pretty sad that it's not as clean and beautiful as years before. It's pretty chill and relax tho
(31) A great way to end our Bali holiday. Total relaxation and great service. Lots of great restaurants within a 500 metre radius with reasonable prices.
(32) Awesome, awesome, awesome.... I was here during sunset, the endless ocean and the power of gosts this place is the perfect combination... crowded but calm
(33) 30$ to stay 30minutes.. its very expensive as in Europe. Nothing interesting to see. I am disappointed
(34) Come here in the early morning or golden light pre-evening time, you will feel heaven. Your mind, your soul mix with the temple, sea, wind, sun light and fresh scent. Pray and think of your family, your relatives, your friends... It's enough.
(35) I have been to this place in Nov 2017 and it was just awesome being there is like connecting to god and nature at same time\n\nyou get good pictures here
(36) What a beautiful place! I enjoyed walking along the Great Wall of Bali. If you can, walk the entire wall down to the end where you will meet a sweet lady who makes beautiful bracelets and a view that is so remarkable.
(37) This is a very peaceful place but gets crowdy. The sunsets are very beautiful.. The place is very photogenic so cameras is must. No trip to bali is complete without coming here. Bali the island of gods. As said..
(38) So much fun! Because it is so great, lots of people want to enjoy it. I recommend going early in the morning to beat the crowds!
(39) There was a great view from nearby restaurants and photo spots. Nearby food and shops are also very nice.
(40) Good place for take dinner, and very clear. We was here on September 2015, when we holiday in Bali. Thank you.
(41) Good music, great views, awesome location. Amazing for the younger set, (music) but still very enjoyable
(42) Little bit of a long drive but worth it. A great place to capture suneset. Was little crowded when we went as there was a religious holiday. Great place to observe tradition and scenic beauty.
(43) I have been there twice, sunset and sunrise both times just as beautiful both time very different experiences. A must to go and see
(44) A must visit, try to visit during a ceremony. Keep an hour for a leisurely stroll in the surroundings. Can get very crowded though.
(45) Been here the second time after 10 years. Not change except getting crowded. View and scene remain spectacular and certainly worth it again.
(46) As we had golf buggy for the day, we drove ourselves to this location. We were lucky enough to be passed on the way in by TRUCKLOADS of other tourists leaving. Great timing!!\nIt was still quite busy and some of the instagrammers were out in full force (beautiful people with selfie sticks and perfect hair)\nNothing took away from this view and the magic of the full force of Mother Nature- the water hitting hard and blowing back out from the caves and holes on the rocks was truly something.
(47) One of the most beautiful places in Bali, This in fact is my favourite place in Bali. This place is Serene and Beautiful. The lave side view. A religious place. The weather is so fantastic. Also enjoyed our visit to Strawberry fields on our return.
(48) Enjoyed sunset there and get mesmerised by the view. So wonderful, stunning, and breathtaking. But one important issue that there is no decent parking area there. We come back a bit too late and we cannot see the road and almost get lost in that huge field.\nOverall a nice experience to see sunset from this place. Beautiful!\nP.S. Just be aware of surroundings and wave movements. Be careful all the time. Nature can be unpredictable.
(49) Visiting this place was one of the best part of Bali trip. Nice Weather & Amazing view. We passes some hours here. Strongly recommended to visit this place with extra time
(50) The place to be honest really nice... BUT a lot of dogs (unclean) and realllly expensive we had a dinner there .... we pay a LOT (compare to Bali prices) ....
(51) It can be very busy on the road just before the sunset time. So make sure you plan enough travelling time and get a good spot to take pictures.
(52) But go early morning, before the hoardes from the Chinese Tour groups arrive in dozens of buses. Sunset is nice, but hot and crowded.
(53) I enjoyed visiting this place. Lots of people around but worth the visit. Saw the sunset and felt very spiritual and uplifting at a very holy place.
(54) This place is amazing. Strong wind currents made the day cool despite the sun is shining right down. The waves are very big and shaped the landscape which makes you marvel at nature. Quite a few photo taking spots. Food stalls along the way in case you get tired/ hungry and needed a rest.
(55) You have to go here, its just simply magical. If you've been to bali and not been here... you're missing out and you definitely have to go back there again. absolutely beautiful.
(56) A good place to visit if you are in the area or if you have the time to kill. Spent about 2hours traveling here to realize it is a small place. nothing fantastic but you get the enjoy a peaceful walk in the area, or sit by the restaurant overseeing the place.
(57) Our guide Maha was amazing! He used our camera better than we could to get some epic pictures. The roads were a bit rough but the driver did an excellent job and the time at the swimming beach was great. Overall I couldnt recommend this tour enough!
(58) Lots of great photo's taken here and many wonderful locals to chat too as well. There are many stalls to buy t-shirts etc and also food and drinks. I also liked the local photographers that are very reasonably priced for instant pics of your visit. I also went well beyond where most of the tourists where and walked some of the coast through paddocks and found some interesting remains of old village. Great day out that I highly recommend.
(59) It very nice place but not too for children because it very hot on my times we go and many Car dont have so much packing
(60) Came here and was not disappointed! If youre planning on walking down then wear suitable footwear and not sandals. Seen so many people wearing sandals/flip flops which is really dangerous!! Very hard walk but worth it! The road to this place is absolutely awful though.
