(1) Good for view. Especially Sunset time. Hot but good. Recomended. But when you are about to take a break at the top of the rock to eat n drink. Make sure you look for place which show menus at the side of the path. So they won't take extra money which some menu they don't have.
(2) We arrived a couple of hours before sunset and it was very busy, but still plenty of room to get the photos you want. We didn't stay until sunset, but maybe next time. We have been to Bali many times but this was the first time we had been here, one of the best places in Bali.
(3) The setting was perfect, sun, sea, sand and rocks! It was particularly very windy that day (pleasant) and the sun set was mesmerizing.. If not for the hoards of tourists at this particular spot (i think its pretty well known), which kind of impacted my experience negatively here, this place would have scored an \Excellent\" in my rating."
(4) So peaceful and easy to find quiet time especially in the mornings. Great bars and cafes. A walk from our fabulous villa down a quiet street also filled with fab organic and healthy cafes and yoga studio. It’s so peaceful here.
(5) great relaxing experience ,\nnot too touristy but neither secluded.\nstrong waves ( be ware of red flags)\nwe enjoyed takings evening strolls there
(6) Can highly recommend this tour!\nBeautiful view, an amazing experience though it was quite crowded.\n\nI wouldn't want to go in high season (August) where 1000 people go to the top every morning, compared to now (May) 400 people.
(7) A nice place. Visit before sunset. Nice landscape. Should plan to spend atleast 1-2 hours before sunset. \nMust visit in Bali trip
(8) Clean\nNice place to hang out and enjoy\nand chill\nWe loved the atmosphere\nEverything was nice\nWould recommend it
(9) Great place, great people fantastic entertainment and awesome food a must visit place when in Bali. Best thing I have done so far.
(10) We love coming here :) So refreshing and empowering! On the way here, the grass is also so beautiful with cows leisurely grazing around.
(11) Come early to avoid the tourists. We rented a scooter for the day. Easy to find and access. Very hot so bring water
(12) Amazing place to make a day trip out to. Spent a couple of hours here, enjoying the architecture, the heat and swimming in the pools. A meal up at the restaurant is recommended for the wonderful view (mid-range prices, but good food).
(13) I loved this place, it was much more beautiful than I anticipated, and were were a lot of money's. I would go again, you'd ever expect from the outside it's so big. I love just watching them with their babies and just enjoying life. It was a cool experience.
(14) They have organized a lot of shopping, restourants, vip hotels here. Put a 60k entrance fee to see the sunset on cliffs. The place itself is very nice, you can even step on the rocks close to the ocean, so you can be washed with the big waves. Commercialization of the place has gone too far, they have open air cafe tables, and you can't even shoot a photo from here, security just kick you out, if you're not ordering. And a lot of other things that spoil the beautiful place it is.
(15) Nice place but definitely spoiled by all inconsiderate people spending ages taking millions of pictures when there are even signs saying specifically there’s a time limit per person. When we came it was impossible to enjoy and even move across the tiles because of the group of ladies that decided to have a full-on photoshoot and had zero regard for other visitors. It’s a shame there’s noone to enforce the rules and teach some people the basics of appropriate behavior in the society.
(16) As usual our favourite place in Bali, not nearly as much people and traffic as other places, cheaper and much more relaxed
(17) It's a great day trip and wait for the sunset. A bit too many tourists but you can try to avoid the crowds by walking to both far ends of the site. Try the kopi luwak coffee here as well.
(18) Very nice view. It was densely cloudy during our visit and we were literally inside the floating clouds. Amazing was the view and worth visiting. Don't forget to have some launch with some mountain views in any restaurants there...
(19) We went early January and it was really crowded. Something that you won't see anywhere else. Well worth the visit.
(20) Every body from all over the world was there on the day we visited so it was more like fun than mystical. You can take a ride on a paddle boat, shop at the various stalls, enjoy a picnic or just take in the beautiful scenery and building. Still it was beautiful and well worth a visit.
(21) this place was jam packed with people but I enjoyed my trip here. sunset was good and had a great shot as my souvenir
(22) We visited the tempel. It is a very beautiful view. Really worth to see. Small entrance fee. 30 000 idr per adult. \nTo see the ceremoni it is an extra 100 000 per person. The ceremoni is really loud singing and moving around. It is a spiritual thing. Very beautiful made costumes and some story in it you can follow. A lot of people left. So be aware that this is really wat you want to visit and that that is something you want to see before you pay the entrance fee. \nWe had a very beautiful sunset during the ceremoni.
(23) Beautiful place that was part of a North Bali Tour that we did. The weather was a bit cloudy that day, but gave the place a kind of mystic feel to it. Not extremely crowded.
(24) Great place for kids, quiet small and a few cafes around. Unfortunately most areas were under construction and wasn't notified at booking. Great place to relax and unwind 😊
(25) Just beautiful ..... you have to go . Photos do not do it justice , very peaceful & not overcrowded ......
(26) Perfect place to view one of the best sunsets! \n\nIt is a little crowded, but it truly is breathtaking !
(27) OMG ... worth the drive ,simply beautiful its located in the mountains which make the trip so exciting beautiful scenery on the way .the grounds are gorgeous& clean & picturesque view that will mesmerize you , very peaceful
(28) Beautiful scenery. I was really glad this place was included on our itinerary. It was the second highlight of our trip.
(29) I highly recommend you to take your own transport if you dont want to spend a lot at local drivers since its not easy to get a cab or more like impossible!\n\nLovely place with a lot of amenities and instagramable spots!\n\nenjoy your day over there!
(30) Must visit place ,especially for sun set , worth watching. Good place for couples as well as for the families.
(31) One of the best place to enjoy sunset,, it is better to come earlier and take a sit on top line so that you can take very nice picture during sunset but be aware that it was really hot surrounded before sunset!
(32) Worth the 90 minutes each way trip for the scenery, and while we were there an almost mystical experience as we found ourselves in the middle of large crowds and a ceremony of some sort. The cacophony of sounds, tinkling bells, drums, chanting was almost like being at a strange music festival. Wonderful sights and colour as the sun set in the distance. Lots of souvenir stalls, and plenty of cafes to sit, eat and drink and watch the mayhem.
(33) I didn't expect a lot. But was impressed the views. Little bit too much tourists but it's not annoying somehow. The vibes there are great.
(34) Full of tourists as you might expect. Few refreshment opportunities, a few info signs, but staff on hand.
(35) Still great to visit especially if there is a great sunset. Beware of big crowds though and increased entry cost...60,000rp per person plus small charge to park your vehicle also.
(36) This place was beautiful to visit however we arrived later in the day and it was extremely hot and busy. I would recommend arriving first thing to get some nice photos with the sunrise and no people around.
(37) This is a very popular and highly commercialised attraction so expect crowds at all times. But it is definitely a must visit if you are in Bali, and even with all the stalls and visitors there is space to sit and reflect and enjoy the the location.
(38) This place is extremely scenic specially during the sunset time. Great for photography as well. It's absolutely treat to the eyes.
(39) Boring\nFamily only area\nOverpriced\nNo Bali spirit\nNever come here again\nWorst area in Bali\n\nBoring\nFamily only area\nOverpriced\nNo Bali spirit\nNever come here again\nWorst area in Bali\n\n
(40) You have to do it, but be warned its very busy! If you haven't done it it's worth the effort. Nice, but like many attractions over time... It's lost it's old appeal with the hordes of people.
(41) Great photo opportunity. Although if you want to go to the toilet, you have to pay for the privilege.
(42) We stayed in Amed in the North East of Bali, so this place was only 50 minutes away from our hotel. It is a nice place to see if you are in the area, but may be a long way to go just for an excursion if you are in the south. The water features are nice and it is a relaxing place, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see this place. If you have time go, then do so, if not, you won't be missing a lot. Nonetheless, if you do go, it is a nice place to relax and walk around, hence the 4/5.
(43) Nice place, weather are cold, was on the leak fishing with family. Love to comeback again. Really relaxs and enjoy the place
(44) Popular spot and nothing fancy about it, don't expect anything of quality. The locals recommended us to go there but it was a disappointment.
(45) Must try place when you visit bali...perfect for family activities.must be early to experience all activites
(46) We visited this place early in the morning and reached at 6.10am to catch the Sunrise.\nThe view is very photogenic and we felt so chilled and relaxed and we took lots of photos.
(47) Please go take visit ! Well worth the pittance of entry fee. Take absolutely no food or water bottles and remove all jewelry and just enjoy! No need for a tour guide.
(48) This was a very relaxing and beautiful place to visit. It was not to busy or loud and ample opportunities for great pictures. We did not do a boat ride, but those are optional. They also have a few restaurants there and a small market when you exit to shop if desired. Overall very Serene and beautiful.
(49) A really cheap day out for the family, it takes awhile to get around the park so put a few hours aside to explore everywhere. It was really hot so make sure you pack lots of water. The staff here are great and all round a good experience.
(50) This is a must go-to place to watch beautiful sunset. We arrived at the right time and our driver helped us take some amazing photos. Unforgettable experience.
(51) This place is very famous in Tabanan, and has always been a tourist destination that is always sought after by tourists.
(52) Great place for photographers with scenic views down to the lake and lava fields. Make sure you check the weather for the day you are touring. When the fog is out you won't see 10 meters in front of you. It looks more like Silent Hill for those horror fans out there.
(53) Such a very nice views. A drone would be recommended for that amazing spot.also a nice spot for sunset.
(54) Well worth the effort to get there and get that photo of you in front of it.\nDon't fall in. And there is a fabulous restaurant right next door for people watching.
(55) This is a must see when you’re in Bali\nWell worth the drive. It’s always good to fit some history into holidays
(56) Exciting for about the first 5 minutes, bright side is it's really cheap.. downside is it's a fair drive getting there, def not an idea going hungover!
(57) The place is serene and has a calming effect and volcano mt agung from far. This place is far and remote, and not sufficient road for bus. It's worth the journey to come here.
(58) must visit, allocate only an hour. very cheap to enter. good cardio if you plan to scope the grounds. do not bring food
(59) Peaceful and quiet. Very dense foliage. The market right outside the entrance has some brilliant arts stuff.\nBut nothing else to do than walk around.
(60) Yes it's crowded but everyone is there for the same reason as you so just go with it!!! Stunning at sunset really beautiful enjoy it! |
