(1) A must see when going to Bali. Very beautiful setting and definitely worth fighting the crowds. We went on a weekend when it might be at its busiest. Did not like seeing the caged animals that the hawkers were peddling to the tourists to have their picture taken with. Sad. Plus, all the shops (Polo / Ralph Lauren???) made it look somewhat like a strip mall.
(2) Absolutely gorgeous, I felt like I was in paradise! However it is also the most expensive place I visited, a bottle of water cost £4 and in Bali that is an extortionate price, even in England it would be!\n\n
(3) If we came across this place and there were one or two other people there it would be enchanting. Unfortunately it is now just one more place to be ticked off by thousands of tourists every day who will be wearing the t shirt long after they have forgotten ever being there.
(4) Thankfully our hotel offered complimentary transportation there or else it would have been even a lower rating. The place is over crowded and a huge tourist trap. Due to all of the crowds it is hard to get any great photos.
(5) It is very beauiful and it worths visiting. The landscape is amazing, it is not very crowded around 15:00.
(6) Went with family to the place. Nice view and it was lucky that we had taken pictures in time as it was hazy soon after.
(7) Nice place with a lot of history. One of the top spots to visit in Bali. Nice spot for pictures. Unfortunately, a lot of visitors - go in the early morning to avoid the crowds.
(8) It's quite a drive through the traffic and its busy with lots of market stalls and shops but they are not pushy.\n\nPay your entry fee and stroll about at your leisure. Sunset is best and low tide.\n\nTake a driver or tour its worth a look
(9) It is definitely worth a visit even though you have to ensure you follow the rules stated if not the money might hassle you!
(10) Come here if you are:\n\n1) staying in Ubud, esp near the attraction\n2) have children\n3) want to have some nice photo backdrops\n\nYou may not want to visit if you are staying more than 30 minutes away. 20 - 30 minutes will be enough time for this attraction.\n\nI'll rate it good, not average or very good. (Seriously TA needs to revise that rating wordings)
(11) A great day trip must include this. Fantastic views across the cliffs. Can obviously get a bit crowded. there is a sundown art performance which if you have time is worth hanging around for. However. The only drawback with this is the restricted access getting to and from. Lots and lots of coaches and cars leaving at the same time is chaotic so be prepared for long delays.
(12) We visited here with our driver Hadi, whom we had booked for 2 days with Deans Drivers of Distinction and we thought it was extremely picturesque. We took photos of the lake and It was very scenic as was the drive to get there .
(13) Nice place to see every people so exciting with this place so this place is quiet a lot of visitor coming to see
(14) My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now and everytime we leave with a smile. From the beautiful ladies selling their wares to the abundant eateries. The atmosphere is like a village and everyone is welcomed with a smile and good conversation. The women are who make it for me.They have big smiles and bigger hearts and no matter how long between visits, they remember you and share a laugh. The waves are perfect for beginners, facillities are everywhere.Nothing is too much trouble for the hard working locals who give this area its soul.Fantastic community if you take the time to watch, listen and enjoy.
(15) A beautiful place to see. There is a restaurant within the premise that you can eat while enjoying the view.
(16) it s a beautiful place to visit but unbelievable crowded. It is imposible to make any single photo on which only you are seen :)
(17) Did visit this place 10 times so far.\nStill not to Believe how hey every time try to fool tourists around starting from the price of the ticket .. which changes ... according to no idea what \n\nBecame to popular \nPeople of the staff are loosing kindness \n\nUsed to be a magic place \nHope they might get it rights again
(18) This place is very very beautiful, describing the place would require a lot of time and effort, so I think that you should go there and check it out!
(19) It was beautiful, clean and the bars and restaurants scattered around contribute to the lovely atmosphere there!
(20) Nice place , you can take picture , there a lot of people offering instant printing photo, only 15k each. Very afforadble. The parking space very spacious.
(21) Just be prepared to be hassled by the locals trying to get you to visit their shops and purchase their services.
(22) Love this place, defiantly will come back again!!! The view is unbelievable, I can't believe in Asia have such a beautiful place like this.
(23) To crowded and not as clean as other places in Bali. It is a place to come to for entertainment, but I would stay away from picking this place for my hotel.
(24) We have visited here several times and this will be the last as we find the food taste in poor and the cost is expensive now so unfortunately his area is no longer unique and service is typically commercialized foot the tourist rather than a simple Bali experience.
(25) View was just like in the pictures. There was a small deck to take pictures from a higher viewpoint, pay 5000rupiah. It was near a small eatery. Go there early and beat the crowd from the daytrip bali tour.
(26) Bring your own beer here. Sit where ever you like! Nobody will interrupt you. The sunset is there.. Ya right in front of you, as big as your eyes open... Enjoy your own heaven 💜\n
(27) We visited during a downpour but it was still very beautiful with lots of whimsical touches. Restaurant was welcome shelter and great food. Xxx
(28) Good place to spend afternoon, especially if hot! Small fee to enter but very beautiful and there is a pool where locals and tourists can enjoy at the back. Restaurants/cafes in front too, although I did not go in any of them. Scooter ride from Amed had some beautiful scenery too :)
(29) I took a private car to go there, it's about 5 pm when I arrived there, many people had already gather to wait for the sunset. And the sunset is very beautiful, kept taking pictures for about 20 minutes.
(30) The sunset is very cool, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle and cost if you're not staying nearby or doing it as part of a package tour. There is definitely no need to do it as a stand-alone tour; just get a cab there and then get one back.
(31) We got here just before 9am. It was very quiet, none of the tourist shops were open - which was great! Hardly anyone was there. By the time we left the coaches had turned up (around 10am) not as tranquil or moving when there are lots and lots of people!
(32) Best in the morning as there can be hundreds of tourists there in the afternoon. Stand to the side of the bay for the best (and safest) view.
(33) Extremely beautiful! We went during the day though and it was ridiculously hot! Don't forget the sunscreen and a hat. And plenty of water. :)
(34) The place is clean and well kept. Worth every Rupiah spent on tickets. Awesome that it is not as packed with tourists as Tanah Lot. Love the peace and quiet.
(35) It's the best place to watch the sunset from. You can choose to either trek through sand and coral or take a scooter to get to the peak from the dirt road. Trekking there is a fun experience but be advised to wear good shoes with sturdy soles because those corals can be a bit hard to walk on, even on flip flops - but bearable, just gotta be careful.\n\nThere's a little wooden hut makeshift bar at the peak where you can get drinks as you watch the sunset while the gigantic waves crash against the rocks.\n\nThere are no bathrooms here though, so be warned if you're going to fill your bladder with beer. Actually spotted a girl who had to go among the prickly bushes to get her business done.\n\nHighly recommend going cos the views are phenomenal.
(36) We didn't stay long but out visit was enough to appreciate the beauty and peacefulness of this place. Really worth a visit or two
(37) I fell in love with this place, wanted to visit it from the first time. I planned to go there and definitely was not dissapointed. We arrived early, it was calm and full of peace, nice change from busy Ubud. We walked around a bit and had fresh juice and Bali coffee on the restaurant terrace. One of my best memories from Bali.
(38) It was such a beautiful place by the rocks and the view was simply so beautiful. Loved it. if you are into photography this could be a great place that your lens would love.
(39) I was expecting something a bit more intricate or larger, but as the sun went down I understood how beautiful this place truly is! Rent a motorcycle if you can and drive around the area, it's gorgeous.
(40) Imagine somehow you can block out all the masses of people with their cameras and just take in the beauty and architecture of the buildings and surrounding lake. Then you've found something special. Otherwise you've just checked a travel box. One other note: There is a food \restaurant\" called Rumah Maken practically at the gate that your tour guide gets a cut from. Avoid it like the plague, unless you are a fan of mass-produced, tasteless and overpriced garbage surrounded by flies and outhouse-like toilets without toilet paper."
(41) We been there last week ... the place is beautiful but the day that we visited had some areas closed for cleaning or something. Not much to see though ❤But Id recommend for sure :)
(42) Very very beautiful location and must visit place for natures beautiful creation..\nAnd Bali's preserved nature...\nJust mind blowing...
(43) We had a lunch in a restaurant while enjoying the beauty of nature. The whether was nice. Its a good place to relax. When leaving the restaurant there are sellers will ask you to buy souvenirs from them. If interested you can bargain for cheaper price. But i would recommend to buy from them not just to help their bussines but also its the same souvenir sale in the city. So help them by buying from them.
(44) I enjoyed this place overall and saved it last in my tour day and was thinking the best was last. Not really. It was good once you get past all the souvenir shops. The pro-photos make it look amazing. It is nice but I guess I hyped it up in my mind. I would recommend the visit but the roads to get there will take a while, so plan accordingly. It was nice and interesting overall
(45) This attraction was very busy at 3pm and apparently it gets busier at sunset. It is a short walk from the car park past lots and lots of stall selling tourist souvenirs.
(46) Absolutely loved it and had a fantastic group and guide! The weather was perfect. It was a bit crowded overall but thats to be expected.
(47) Arrived before noon and managed to avoid the crowds. We could leave our backpacks at the information centre. Very much enjoyed our visit!
(48) It's definitely stunning but very crowded! Left before sunset to avoid the traffic rush. Use the washroom before you go... Had to pay to pee!
(49) Good food and music. Nice promenade. We walked and shopped. Lots of evening music. WiFi. ATMs. The money changer didn't want dollars for some reason. The WiFi at the hotel crashed all our phones and kindles. Ok at the Starbucks.
(50) Quite , Peaceful, Serene. Much cooler up here away from the coast. Its a breath of fresh air. great photo opps as well. very near a beautiful Golf Course ( if you are into that).
(51) A nice place but very commercial many visitors but interesting place not far from amed 30 min drive or Almlapura / drivers all know it & lunch there is good too
(52) This was the best tour I have been on since being in Bali. I think the most important thing is having a driver that knows what he is talking about, humble and loves what he does. RISMA greeted us with a warm welcome and cold beverages. He explained everything in a great and straightforward way. He also made us feel safe which I believe is very important when visiting another country. You could tell he loved his job. Having been in Bali for 8 days you are likely to come across many drivers who could be rude and not friendly but RISMA showed us true Balinese hospitality! If I could rate this trip a 10, I would only because of RISMA. I will definitely be back and will request RISMA for all my tours or driving needs!!
(53) Its a beauty, it truly is. But to be honest; its better on photos. It is so busy that its hard to find a good spot to enjoy the view. And a true magnet for insta-photographers trying to add an “original” selfie to their album. Coming early really pays off. Soms restaurants and toilets nearby, nothing really special or clean. Fee to get in was 5000 idr per vehicle which is cheap, but make sure you have it on you.
(54) Watched the sunset with my husband here. Tourist spot so better come early to grab a place! Also, the floors/rocks are very uneven.
(55) Fantastic. Worth the trip. Would recommend for everyone travelling to Bali. Lots of tourists. Staff were great and the view was spectacular.
(56) There's so many people so it is advisable to come before sunset. Foods are quite expensive but the view is just breathtaking. A perfect end after spending the day touring all over Bali.
(57) This place is like nothing I've ever seen before, like taking a step back into time!\n$4 enter was so worth it.\nWe could have spent all day here
(58) A very beautiful place in Central Bali. \nThe location is surrounded by Lake Beratan. Looks like an island in between lakes. Also mountain view on one side which make this place more attractive. \n\nIt was slightly raining when we visited.. so better to take umberalla with you in case of need. \n\nEntry fee is IDR 50000 per person but worth paying.\n\nThere is also some shops outside for Balinese ethnic cloths.
(59) just the peaceful atmosphere and friendly locals and how close to the hotel was just a few steps away
(60) - Major 3 Locations to visit in one place.\n- lots of walking is required.\n-Neat and clean.\nEnjoy the sea waves and greenery. \n\nVisit to sunset point at top should also be done.
