(1) I can say this place quite big and nice area to walk. The building is not very impressive if compared to other places but still a nice walk with my bf. the thing that i didnt like is it took nearly 2hrs drive (4hrs in total). :(
(2) Beautiful historical place. Will become Speechless when you hear the history while looking at the surrounding view. Magnificent
(3) We visited this place in 2015 and recently in 2017. Prices have doubled, and more and more people visiting this place. However it is still worth a visit !
(4) what an amazing experience visiting this place, out of the world, pity we could spend only about an hour, easily one can spend three to four hours here. very picturesque for a photo shoot, in fact there was a wedding photo shoot happening when we were there. a must see for all tourists who visit Bali...
(5) Very nice place to visit but very busy and crowded. Was worth the visit. Not really too much more to say. Shouldn't really take too much time to do
(6) Had lunch at a restaurant & then walked up to get the views, had a local guide so fairly easy. Good views although it was a bit hazy.
(7) Was a beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately spoilt by tourists with no regard to anyone else, taking 100s of pics posing on the steppingstones. Take a couple of pics and move on people! One couple spent over half an hour on the one stone, not allowing people past. Maybe try going early morning or late afternoon to avoid some of the crowds
(8) Amazingly beautiful place\nSo a tranquil place where you can relax and reflect \nThe grounds are well cared for and you can get some really good photos
(9) Awesome place. beautiful scenery.....very lovely will definitely go again.....very nice to take loads of photos due to the great views etc....There are monkeys that are cute but be careful as they take valuables, so keep items in the car or locked away e.g. glasses, phones etc....
(10) OVERALL\nAmazing place to go and observe sun set, power of ocean and cliff!\n\nGET THERE\nIt is easy to get there. You can go by yourself or higher driver, by motobike (there is a parking). \n\nTIME of THE VISIT\nYou will be enough with like 1-2 hour depends if you want to walk around whole edge or just look at sunset. I would recommend to come at 5PM to have enough time to enjoy the view from all sides (you can go left and right). \n\nGUIDE\nNo need guide.\n\nDRESSCODE\nSimple. Nothing special overall. Just take out all small things as monkey there are super impudent. They are can take your earring, sunglasses, open your bag and take smth from there or take it….take everything from your hands. Camera they normally dont touch but with phones Id be more careful.\n\nPRICE and PAYMENT\nEntrance is 30K per pax and no more donations))\n\nTIPS:\n-\tBe careful with monkeys (!!!)\n-\tGo earlier at 5PM to see all the beauty\n-\t Enjoy sunset!
(11) Really enjoyed our visit here nice views well worth a visit.Lots of other places in the area to visit as well
(12) Good place for group, but too busy for a family trip. I suggest to everyone not to come to this place in afternoon. But overall we like the place
(13) Nice temple with nice scenery. i'm using baliuniquedriver.com for my tour in bali and i'm feel really safe because the driver is really profesional, you should using Baliuniquedriver.com too if you holiday in bali, and the best part is baliuniquedriver.com is worth for the money. Bali Unique Driver is Everything, Your Complete Service Travel Agent, We are one of the best tour in bali, we provide always the best service for our customers, because your pleasure is our satisfaction.
(14) My wife and I visited this place based on research and photos. I was somewhat underwhelmed. The photos that you will find online are certainly favourable to the location.\nIt was interesting but thats the best I can say about it. We decided to eat at one of the attached restaurants. The food was okay, but overpriced for Bali. (Yes I know that is what I should expect at places located at tourist sites, but still, it was overpriced even taking that into account.)\nNice to do, not a must do.
(15) Nice place, lots of coffee shop, great place, however it doesnt look so neat as it used to, overall be okay experience
(16) so beautfiul and amazing sunsets. friendly people and good enviroment would gladly go back. very calm
(17) Gorgeous views worth the trip a must see photos do not do it justice - a small entry fee but doesnt break the bank its definitely worth the trip there
(18) Nice place but definitely spoiled by all inconsiderate people spending ages taking millions of pictures when there are even signs saying specifically theres a time limit per person. When we came it was impossible to enjoy and even move across the tiles because of the group of ladies that decided to have a full-on photoshoot and had zero regard for other visitors. Its a shame theres noone to enforce the rules and teach some people the basics of appropriate behavior in the society.
(19) It has breathtaking views! Bit of a tourist trap, wouldn't necessarily call this site peaceful, but it is very gorgeous. \n\nMake sure you secure a cab to get you there and back. Our cab dropped us off and you need to have someone to stay to get you back. All the cabs there were waiting for someone (who had secured cabs) and we need to use an expensive \luxurious\" car service to get us back - and it was raining. \n\nDefinitely go if you are in the area, but think ahead. Get in and out quickly!"
(20) The visit up here is amazing, but pretty overrun with tourists and trash. Definitely a gram worthy spot though, bit of a mission though
(21) bike paths fantastic, beautiful restaurants especially at night with all the lanterns lit up. Bit windy in August. Stingers around certain time of the year.
(22) Nice place if you like to see culture, sea, mountain and surf in the same place. Try to visit at afternoon when the sunset. Its very beautiful during sunset.
(23) Probably my expectations were too high . The photos floating around of this place are mind boggling but the actual is place is great but does not meet the hype .
(24) Too crowded, too noisy and to touristic place, in my opinion, not worth paying for it.\nA pitty, though.
(25) Maybe better if you have kids or a keen photographer but we found it to be a nice walk\nwont be rushing back
(26) Dana was our driver and guide.\nHe is very punctual and friendly.\nAlways attentive and knowledgeable which makes our trips more interesting.\n\nGreat to have Dana showing us around.
(27) As expected the area was really busy with lots of guest waiting for table. Service could be improved and guest wouldn't mind to pay extra
(28) Enjoyed the end of a very interesting cultural day here overlooking the ocean. Setting was magical. Only issue were the crowds who all had the same idea of a beautiful sunset spot.
(29) No no no. It's probably a very sacret and very beautiful tempel but you won't be able to enjoy it fully. First you pay entrance, then pass a souvenir village and when you arrive at the site you realise half of Bali had the same idea. We arrived in the morning, as we always do, to get some pictures with little or preferably no other tourists on it. Well guess what, it was already packed with people.\nMost of the tourists will go to see the sunset... I just can't imagine what a circus that would be.. what a shame.\nMy tip, be there when it opens and rush to the site to get that unspoiled feeling of this undoubtedly magnificent place.
(30) Beautiful place that was part of a North Bali Tour that we did. The weather was a bit cloudy that day, but gave the place a kind of mystic feel to it. Not extremely crowded.
(31) Fantastic views if not visited on a cloudy day. Can be busy so best to arrive at least 45 minutes before sunset to get the best picture opportunities.
(32) Enjoyed the walk and views, it is busy but it's also beautiful, we were going to go because of some reviews an we are glad that we did.
(33) Were here to have a walk and enjoy the afternoon time. It was stunning view with the best sunset. It was very pity that the weather was not so friendly very Windy and the sea very rough but still very beautiful
(34) Lovely views , can get a bit busy but we'll worth the visit , make sure you use a driver who will take you in and make sure all is well !!
(35) beautiful place. There is good photo views, pool where you can swim, nice cafe with excellet terrace. Came here on the sunset!
(36) It was heaven away from the hot and humid bali town. Beautiful location to chill out. Everyone visiting bali should see this place .
(37) good enough, and worth it to visit here. the entry fee very cheap, only idr 50,000. and dont buy drink before entrance, because not allow to bring it inside.
(38) This place is my favorite from our tour. Very beautiful place. Awesome for photography. We've clicked some lovely photos.
(39) What a stunning place! \nFantastic shopping too! Sooooo cheap! \nHad a blast!\nWe will most definitely be going back to Bali, so beautiful! X
(40) The place is magically beautiful and some cool breeze due to the higher altitude. Very enjoyable place to visit surrounded by hills, water and temples. Recommended for nature lovers and photo enthusiasts.
(41) Have been here many times with family and friends and it's always a delight. Beautiful drive there and back..
(42) Obviously this is a favorite for tourists so it was very packed when we went, late afternoon. Was worth it to see at that time of day though. Price of entry is now IRP30,000. Markets are good for a wander.
(43) beautiful place to visit, cost is $3.00 each to enter so worth it, great place for photos, gets very busy
(44) You need at least once to visit this place, very nice experience.\nI needed two hours driving from Airport, and very worth it. \nMy parents and my kids were amazed. Gorgeous view and very fresh air.
(45) We came here on a bike. First thoughts was how hectic it was from all the tourists. Its a well maintained area. But in all honestly I was expecting a bit more. I think it would have been better to come at sunset or early in the morning when it wasnt so busy! Its a nice area to walk around but we went in the boiling heat so found it hard. My favourite part was being blessed by the monks with holy water.
(46) Very busy but beautiful. We found a place to sit and watch the sunset and even though there were many people around it was still relaxing.\nThey have stalls set us as you walk in and plenty of food around. They have men walking around selling photos if you want a little keepsake.
(47) Worth my sunburn due to the super hot weather but the view had taken my breathe away. Its a must to visit if you're traveling to Bali!
(48) Great view of the sunset and airport. Even though it was a bit cloudy it was still pretty. It was cool to watch the planes come in also. Very relaxing.
(49) We had a lovely view from not only our room but our favourite bar. Prime location and not too busy. Great place to spend a day and enjoy the sourounds.
(50) Stunning view it was breathtaking i really just wanted to stay there for like hours and enjoy everything there
(51) Nice park and friendly staff but man o man is it tourist heavy with only the most piggish of tourists. Try and go during low season.
(52) I spent the evening of July 5th watching the seas and sunset here. It is a very nice spot, but not as nice as the spot I found a bit north of the Devil's Tears. There were some other people here, but it was not overly crowded.
(53) Go to this place as it is nice and clean.. very scenic and beautiful. The directions are confusing so save on google map before you go.
(54) We were driving by a motorbike just randomly and ended up there by a small road. There are couple of different roads that go there. Very special place. Unfortunately we missed the sunset at our last night as it was raining heavily. But even in full daylight it was a special place to see!
(55) Worth the wait to see the spray shooting out. We came here during a calmer day and didnt know what the fuss was about and then came with bigger waves and crowds of people were about and the display was awesome! Ask your hotel for advice if you are unsure when to go. The ground is quite uneven so dont come bare foot!
(56) We visited here. Although the day was quite warm is was still amazing. Our taxi driver stayed and waited for us as there isnt a whole lot of taxis.up there. The view was great and we even got to meet the locals ie the cheeky monkeys.
(57) Crowded...too many tourist, but still beautiful landscapes and the locals of course more than friendly.
(58) We went there on a day trip from Amed. Beautiful place. Enjoyed our visit there. Cost us 30.000 idr per person.
(59) Very pretty place but lots of tourists. We were able to get some nice pics but there were a lot of ppl.
(60) Unclean, noisy, not what we would normally choose. The surrounding establishments were very crowded and noisy.
