(1) My friend and I decided to see something different as all our trips centred around chilling and partying. Therefore, this is a good sight to visit. There is a large crowd so be prepared for people in the way of your photos etc
(2) visited here with friends on Sunday November 29th 2015. It was extremely hot that day. We had visited here before some 25 years ago so we were very surprised to find how much more there is to see and do there now. The area is surrounded by beautiful grounds, many, many markets shops plus restaurants. there are also things like owls, bats, snakes etc to be seen. The view is stunning and well worth the visit.
(3) When we went, it was from afternoon to night and saw the beautiful sunset.\n\nNot too crowded and definitely a must.
(4) Never seen such an amazing view of this iconic sight. The weather was perfect & plenty of tourists. Couldve stayed there all day.
(5) It is cooling and pretty, water features with Balinese accents and a place to feed the huge fish, lounge around and have a nice picnic. Hare Krishna followers walked and chanted around the space while we were there which added some touristic value for us. If in the area worth it to drop by for a laid back afternoon
(6) been here many times. we knew what we would see, and had seen so many times, it's still fascinating. yes, it's crowded but we didn't mind, truly a great landmark of bali.
(7) We had a lot of fun coming here to watch the sunset and the large pounding waves. You do not need to plan to stay for a long time, but it is worth checking out.
(8) A gem in the sea, a lot of tourist, we went during a festival. It is worth a visit, go while on a tour. Get a driver for the day. Sunset is fantastic here.
(9) This beautiful place is a must to enjoy. it has a tranquility away from the busy life that is Bali. Visit the restaurant to enjoy a refreshing drink and as it is high above the gardens it is the perfect spot to take wonderful photographs.
(10) As long as you do a bit of research (& dont wear flashy/ shiny/ removable things), this can be enjoyable. DONT be the tourist that feeds or touches the moneys.
(11) We enjoyed our time there and had a lot of fun, the employees were friendly and very helpful. I dont mind to visit it again 😊
(12) Beautiful place , you can see sunset in this place but be careful with the wave and you will find big yard and is good for take some photo
(13) Mind blowing place. Of course you have to be amongst the first ones to arrive, otherwise the whole experience is going to be ruined by hundreds of tourists. We arrived around 8.30 and it was a convenient time to take some solo pictures and have a pleasant walk around. Entrance fee 50k/ person, and there is no dress code.
(14) Fantastic day, other than the heat and long drive. Hire a driver for the day and make all of the tourist stops along the way.
(15) The view and less over-crowded. Not many people walking there. The restaurant, especially the Potato Head Bar is very good, though a little bit expensive.
(16) Great view Nice Place but lots of tourists and it's not that big of a deal ! Go there if you have time it's still beautiful
(17) I did not plan this destination into my road trip. However we missed a junction and somehow we were here and I'm blessed that we DID it! The mountain and lake views are awesome and breathtaking. We didn't have lunch there but we found a shop that the owner was generous enough to let us went up to the rooftop without any charge. Glad that we got to enjoy the view with the highland breeze off the tourists crowd.\n\nTips: I told the gate keeper that I'm Malaysian and he gave me discounts. Not sure if this would work for everyone.
(18) The place is really far from most hotel stay but the view is very beautiful. Can take a lot of beautiful scenic pictures.
(19) This place is very very beautiful, it is worth driving from the a long distance just to walk around in it, describing the place would require a lot of time and effort, so I think that you should look at the picture section for more info
(20) A must seen while in Bali. Shopping again for the shopper holic great views and large walking area to get different views of the whole area. Not to good for wheel chair or elderly. Very busy area lots of tourists all the time.
(21) It was crowded when I went here on March 5 as locals were having their Melasti. Despite the crowd and the cloudy skies, it was so beautiful. Aside from locals having their Melasti, there were couples having their prenup shots there.
(22) Stunning place, just jaw-droppingly beautiful. Well worth the visit. There´s a nice little restaurant, where you can sit, have a drink and just soak in the atmosphere.
(23) Really a place not to be miss\nYou can go anytime during the day it is quiet\nFor sunset everyone coming with bus, cars , motorbike\nSo you will not be alone \nReally beautiful
(24) Beautiful!!! This was the first place we visited when we landed in Bali and it was lovely. Nice to drop in and take a stroll
(25) This place is beautiful! I swear this is beautiful. I have uploaded some picture. See it for yourself. A place that is a must to visit when you are in BALI!!!
(26) This was a nice spot, but so very crowded with big groups arriving constantly it was hard to get a good spot to enjoy the spectacle.
(27) There were a lot of souvenirs stores in the Jalan Arjuna street at Double Six Beach, Seminyak. Coming from South America i was not that impressed by the souvenirs. In fact when I travel to a country I usually like to get souvenirs related to the traditional hand crafts/products of that country, but at Jalan Arjuna street most of the products I found were t-shirts/tops of football/basketball famous teams and very few handicraft and affordable products. Most of the sellers have a rude and not kind attitude if you just have a look at their products and don't buy anything, but if you end up buying something they set prices waay higher than what the products are supposed to cost. Anyways, I walked several times through this street and I found out an alley at the right side of Jl Arjuna if you face the beach, right before 66 Corner sign, so the third store had a good and fair seller, he was kind, not pushy and he even gave me a good discount, so if you are around this area and want to buy souvenirs and don't want to feel any pressure to buy anything you may want to give it a try to this store.
(28) Very disappointing you can walk round this place in 15 minutes and was right by a busy road not at all what I expected
(29) Peaceful tranquil place to visit, beautiful spot to walk along the coastline. Beware Sunset commands the most tourists and it gets busiest then.
(30) For the very first time in life to watch the most beautiful sunset ever!!! The show was stunning and very entertaining. Truly worth to visit!!! Its Heavenly! \n\nI will be back!!!!
(31) Costs 20,000 and definitely worth a visit. We arrived at 8:30 am and were practically the only people there so it was quite peaceful (plus the weather is usually better in the mornings). By 9:30 the buses start to arrive...
(32) What a amazing place!!! Natural beauty.. I cant explain the beauty of this place with words!!\nEvening is the best time to go there 👍
(33) Okay for a late afternoon stroll if you are staying nearby Ubud. Otherwise, not worth taking a cab just to visit this place.
(34) Pretty sight... if you are willing to stand between 100's of tourists, just for a pretty picture. Don't go there, spend your time somewhere else and look up the picture on instagram, there must be plenty of them...
(35) Worth the visit especially at sunset. Take your camera, the views are stunning.... TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME!
(36) Visited this wonderful piece of nature yesterday. The drive in was bumpy and not very well maintained. The views were spectacular and the mighty force of nature was awesome. Getting a clear photo shot was at times difficult with the large number of tourists.
(37) very nice architecture but not much to see. You'll need a guide to acknowledge the history of the place
(38) one of the best place to see sunset in the world..beautiful view look amazing and really nice place to see durring in bali
(39) There's another place to make your sunset time awesome..\nHow's beautiful place,, how's beautiful sunset..\nThank you for keep this place..
(40) nice place to take attractive photo. most tourist are come visit every tour to take memorable photo and Buddhist go to pray.
(41) Is nice place to stay. Very cheap place for 20$ breakfast included. They are the most friendly Balinese people. Love to stay there also my husband family and friends always stay in this place. Good internet connection. They been doing renovations so there is no damage in room. Cheers
(42) This is a beautiful place to visit highly recommended very serene and spiritual very pretty place with lots of great photo opportunities
(43) I guess we were not so lucky because the place was too crowded but then driver explained that it is the same every time tou go there..
(44) Beautiful people , beautiful place . With so much to see .you must travel and get into the countryside
(45) Great view. Less people.\nGreat hotel, has Bali collection , very easy to go.\n\nTotally recommended this one.\nFully recommended.\n
(46) cozy palce for sightseeing in bali. you must go to this place to see this beautiful place.\ndont forget to take you camera.
(47) The place is very good for tourists. The weather is very pleasant and can enjoy the scenes. It is very nicely maintained and lots of flowers are there.
(48) A great place to enjoy the sunset. Everyone knows it, so everyone is there. if you expect a romantic evening, you are wrong. There will be a couple of thousand people in front or beside you to share the view. Still, if you are able to focus on the sun, you will definitely enjoy. Bring some cash, as there is an entrance fee of 30000 IDR/pax. :-)
(49) Lovely place to visit. My first time to Bali beautiful views here took lovely photos, enjoyed the markets got good bargains there as well. Wasnt game to hold a snake though
(50) The view is very amazing.\nView, culture, nature & religion in one harmony.\nLuckily it was no raining when i came.\nLocal people & foreigners have different entrance fee.\nThe signage from main road is not really good, however, google map is working good.
(51) This is a cool place to visit. But As soon As you hit the entrance. You can feel its really touristic. This happens to a lot of places. But Allright. Still a cool place to visit. But expect alot of people.
(52) We visited the place to catch the sunrise, the view is just breathtaking. Its a totally different experience in the early morning vs late morning. \n\nBut the whole experience was dampened by the Extortion Entrance Fee of 600K for 5 of us to take photographs in the early morning when its totally no visitors!!!\nMaybe its the management of just the keeper, its just a Ridiculous price to even ask for!
(53) A very beautiful place. Vey clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the experience of seeing something so old but very respected
(54) It is a heritage site by World heritage site.A must visit place when you are in Bali .Surrounded by lovely gardens ,amazing sea ,it's mesmerizing beauty is beyond words ..
(55) I made a mistake of assuming this place as huge palaces you see in India. Its nothing like that. It is a very small attraction as you see in the visitor photos here. Nothing more. Fun for kids to run on the stepping stones. Nice place for a art & architecture appreciator.\n\nI dont remember the name of the restaurant in this place, though looks high-class, the food is the worst ever i had in my life. Since this place is far off from much other attractions, do plan for your food and stay beforehand.
(56) Go to this place at Sunset on a beautiful day. You might need to wait a while for a big wave to come, but once it does- so so worth it.
(57) Honestly I wouldn't bother coming here, it has a nice view and a nice place to walk around but you could find the same thing at other places. Quite crowded.
(58) Awesome views from viewing point and some restaurants. You will be harrassed by local people selling their goods though - harrassed might be a mild word. You can get Bali souvenirs very cheaply here. Awesome place to visit, a must see in Bali.
(59) Absolutely lovely place. Stunning. Do yourself a favour and spend some time here. Only downfall is Toilets are terrible & must pay to use.
(60) Can be very crowded and touristy. Nice to watch the sunset. Many bars have live music playing, why they insist on playing western music covers i will never understand.. pricier than local places..
