(1) The place was a bit crowded when we visited. Place was quite nice. Try to bring water & umbrellas for unforseen rain showers..
(2) have been here many times before just absolutely love this place this time we bought 3 other couples with us there couldn't believe how beautiful the place is just great views the tide was out so was able to walk across the other side and to finish of our day we got some real bargins through the markets.
(3) Pretty and lively! Not much to dislike. Nice water temperature and clean. Nice to stroll along the path and check out the other hotels on offer.
(4) Great historical place in Bali, first timers should not miss visiting this place... be there to catch the sunset.. amazing view.. There are lots of small shopping stalls and food shops. overall, great place to visit.
(5) This place has something magical, something mystical ! Watching all those trees and flowers, giant roots bending over the bridges, mystic statues over stone paths, wild free monkeys playing around and everything bathed in the sunlight passing through the branches - made me feel like part of the nature. It's a sanctuary you must visit if you really love nature.
(6) a nice spot to relax with your mates or family. you able to blend in with the locals. the clean room, nice and welcoming vibes from surrounding, excellent attitudes from the hotel staff, and really nice and yummy food from they upstairs restaurant as the top up :) of my scores :) I recommend this hotel for traveler.
(7) Beautiful place to see the sunset, but beware, it is very crowded during the sunset so my recommendation is to start your return before everybody else.. The parking lot is so crowded..
(8) Place was nice view but still under construction . Need accomodation..\nMust come here to see the view
(9) A very beautiful place with good atmosphere, a must visit place when you are in Bali.Very relaxing and friendly environment
(10) It's one of those attractions that sadly ends up eating and destroying itself. It is a must-see and as such is sadly a must see. The traffic is impossible (especially at sunset) and one can hardly set up a camera without other photographers entering the picture. It's just too good, too photogenic and too exiting to pass.\n\nI'd love not to recommended it with a hope that next time when I'm visiting it, there will be fewer other tourists around the place.
(11) Not much crowded at the time we visited. Spent some time at this beautiful place. Kids loved the small green park for running (and walking around). Nice experience.
(12) Terrible idea to visit this place, unkept n nothing to see..even tourists have stopped coming here as per locals..skip this place on your itenary whilst sightseeing Bali
(13) It is far but worth the visit. The place is a fantastic place beautiful view. The restaurants that have the great view are not so good. The first impression is amazing but the time you put the food in the mouth you realize all the food are cold. The staff is ok.
(14) Interesting place, restaurant expensive and quite orientated for tourists. Lovely views and good starting place for rice terrace walking.
(15) Amazing! The sunset incredibly fantastic with so many services offered by the locals. Way to explore and enjoy that part of Bali.
(16) It was Great experience to be in Bali for my Business Tour. Great Place, Great food Great Place. Nice place
(17) This is worth a visit if you know what to expect - the pictures you see are an illusion - we got here at about 6:55am and were ticket number 53 - left by 8:45 - you need time and lots of that time is to wait for the “ perfect shot” however the views are stunning and this alone is worth it
(18) The place was peaceful but the traffic is bad. Very peaceful and quiet. I went here with some of my friends, not too crowded and you just need to avoid some naughty monkeys trying to steal your bag or attracted to it.
(19) visited on a sunny afternoon, however without a sunset its not as spectacular, plenty of tourists visiing, plus heaps of ships for clothes and trinkets/souveniers, spend an hour at least walking around
(20) I recommend this to be your trip.\nThe service is very satisfying.\nThis is the wonder of the world.enjoyy
(21) Nice to walk along the 'boulevard'. A bit annoying are all the bikers on the same path ringing there bell all the time.
(22) Must see this amazing structure, thanks hundreds of years old .its particularly beautiful at sunset when it's less crowded. I first visited this site 30 years ago and we were the only tourists there. Oh how tones change , it's still amazing but so hard to get a good photo with so many people everywhere. But definitely a must see on your things to do list.
(23) We went here in the noon.. Kinda mistake.. As it was too sunny and we couldn't enjoy much.. I think it should be amazing in the evening.. But the view here actually reminded us pf Cape Peninsula, South Africa..
(24) Indeed, there are so many new facilities that have been installed in this area however we dont feel any nature atmosphere anymore. This place way more commercial than years back
(25) Awesome experience, I loved the crowds & the noise whilst waiting patiently for sunset.\nIt's so worth a visit.
(26) Love it,,, the dinner was very good, the guide also ( Serni ) .... very friendly,,,, recommend this place to other friends.....
(27) We almost skipped this, it would have been a huge mistake! There is a part of this that is packed with tourists but you walk 3 more minutes and you get the whole place to yourself. Amazing.
(28) it's kind of beautiful escape\n1. Location easy to reach\n2. if you come with your parents who can't walking too far, this place gives them satisfaction. \n3. View really amazing from any spot\nBut\nidk why the entrance ticket always having upgrade year by year
(29) This place very historical and well worthy to go and enjoying the magnificent panoramas and a historic statute, glad I can went to this places. But I really regret can't take any pictures cuz I was too amazed by this historical place.
(30) A special, beautiful place. Plan to spend some time here. It is peaceful, even though you may encounter many tourists.
(31) We happened to be here during a ceremony. Loads of locals and tourists. Very colorful and great atmosphere! Much better with less tourists as they are not mindful of photographers. A real must see if you are in Bali.
(32) We went there for sunset, twice. Very nice combo of splashing waves, a small reef and beautiful sunset. Quite painful to sit down on the rocks, bring something to sit on!
(33) Very much a tourist trap to see spectacular sunsets. It is very lovely, but you do need a clear evening, otherwise, like us, you will be disappointed as the sun sets behind the clouds. Worth a visit though.
(34) The natural of beauty is always make me feel happier and surprised. \n\nIf you have chance to visit this land please must be come here and please keep the natural dont disturb!
(35) This place is absolutely beautiful and a good place for photographers since its just breathtaking. Felt a little unsafe bcz there were a few people who were trying to take our photo forcefully and then ask for money though.
(36) Absolutely amazing the culture and views, it does get very busy with tourists but the sunset views are great
(37) We have long wanted to visit this magnificent place. Be prepared for the fact that it is very hot here. \nWe really enjoyed the view of cool colors of water and nature. There are a lot of tourists here, and sometimes you have to wait if you want to make a photo at some points. Also you can go down to the beach, but it's a hard way and we did it.
(38) We reached there around 5pm to catch the sunset. There were just too many people, bus loads of them. There are many steps and with so many people rubbing shoulders, accidents are bound to happen. The fall from those steps are not going to end nicely. Sunset here is fantastic. Not baby or kids friendly because of those dangerous steps.
(39) This is one of my pit stops as part of my road trip. \n\nA very peaceful place if not for the tourist crowd. Try to head there early, and enjoy the cool breeze. Bring along some chips or food and set yourself a quick picnic with a lake view.\n\nAfter which you can stop by Strawberry Stop right outside the area (exit, make a right turn, drive up for 500m and look for a golden bottle by the roadside) for a refreshing cup of organic juice at only 14,000 IDR. A whole packet only cost you 30,000 IDR.
(40) Quit small area but you get nice pictures. Definitely worth of visiting. Lot of turist there but there is room for walking so dont feel grouded
(41) pay for parking - has an entry fee - overcrowded with tourist - not very tranquil - however it is notable for the architecture and status. Sadly the sea of tourist local and foreign together can be quite daunting - Traffic ALERT (best travel by 2 wheeler motor bike, avoid taxi/car/bus at all cost as you will be stuck is traffic for miles) - the ride is beautiful so motor bike is the way to go - compound has many gift shops, haggle for the best price if you are up for it.
(42) I hv been here 3 times. Very nice weather, cool and calm made me hungry so quickly hehehe. Nice view and romantic. \nThey should provide more seats for visitors but I realize this is a sacred place, it prefer calmness, maybe\nNew beautiful building for relaxing is being built there.
(43) Wow. What an amazing place. Built into rock right on the sea, the waves crashing and the breeze blowing makes for a truly great day. The gardens are superb, the walk-ways and views are breath-taking. Great photos from many outlooks. And the other tourists didn't seem to mind me photo-bombing their shots at every opportunity. All good fun, and we had many quick conversations with \new mates\". A great place to visit. Spend a couple of hours and really enjoy the place."
(44) Amazing, spectacular and sacred place. If you are visiting Bali you must come here! A very touristy but breathtaking place.
(45) Entrance fee is 60k per head plus parking. Nice place to buy souvenirs, t-shirt are very cheap there. You can buy an instant postal pic for as low as 10k, you will see some guys wearing clothes from Canon just approach them and they have their own print there.
(46) We went there with our 1yr old son and enjoyed the day out. Its worth a visit for couple of hours. Its well located near Ubud central.
(47) We had a drizzly and misty day but it was still a wonderful experience. Due to the mist, we could not appreciate the perspective that it was on Bali's second largest lake. However, the mist did create a mystical and pretty effect. Worth a visit.
(48) Beautiful but incredibly crowded with tourists, went in the daytime but also seems like a perfect place to spend sunset
(49) In spite of being very busy and overrun this site is beautiful and everyone seems to be unusually peaceful and gracious in these surroundings. Well worth a visit in spite of the busyness
(50) This is a beautiful place to visit. The view is outstanding. The only issue is the crowd... but still worth a visit.
(51) It is beautiful to see the sunset there but it's too overrated. My driver drove me past some rice fields and I think seeing sunset in the rice fields is even much better.
(52) Amazing place to bring you camera and test your skills. It is a little far but worth the drive if you are keen on grabbing a bite to eat for dinner + test your photography skills.
(53) area was clean, good atmosfire here, busy places a lot of people, but totaly really refreshing. next time will come again
(54) Nice tour with Gede ,\nIt's a place where you can always think of going through even if in several times really enjoy !!!
(55) Beautiful idillic area, gorgeous.\nViews are beautiful of mountains and islands in the distance.\nQuiet for the majority of areas that are private for the resorts.\nShame about the rubbish, particularly in the areas that aren't private, as the majority of locals and kids seem to swim in these areas but there's so much rubbish everywhere :(
(56) this place is totally awesome!!\n\nride for 30' from GM Bungalows. you can use car with local guide but the road is small.
(57) Visited last year, loved it so much, came back this year and will probably come next year. It is so beautiful.
(58) It´s very popular, it became one of the most famous tourist attractions but really consider if you go there. Our experience: amazing place just couple of meters from rolling waves with a view on landing planes, average quality of food, overpriced and what's worst: bad and slow service - we have been waiting for the food allmost 1 hour and finaly the food was cold!!! A typical tourist trap - waste of time and money. Never again. There are lots of much better and cheaper places to eat.
(59) Had lots of fun and great pictures. A fairly busy place for the low season we visited. Very safe as we followed the Sanctuary's safety guidelines.
(60) It's really worth to come to this place, through those bumpy roads and hot sunny day... but in the end, you will be surprised and amazed by the awesome view.
