(1) Beautifully breathtaking! Please be careful when you are here and DO NOT stand too close to the edge. Incidentally a tourist died a day before we went and on the same day, a tourist broke her leg...everyone wants to take the perfect picture / selfie but it's not worth risking your life just for a photo. Please be wise & careful!
(2) It was first time to go there, but very enjoy it,the nature will make you homy, wont to back to the city..so green and comfortable.love it!
(3) One of the most famous attractions you need to visit to know about Bali. There is a lot of walking to do hence it is better to have comfortable footwear and a cap / hat especially if it is summer time. There are many local shops around that area where you can grab a quick bite as well as shop.
(4) Beautiful! Is not the word. It is just picture perfect place. Had a great time here when i was on honeymoon here.\n\nBest things about the place is it's breathtaking view from the top and the Ramayan which gets performed very evening just at the time of sunset. And yes, you will not find such AWESOME SUNSET than this.
(5) When u see a sunset in this place u realise that best things in life do come free!!!\n\nGorgeous place. Not crowded ! U shud try and be there around sunset and see god paint the sky!
(6) Absolutely beautiful (it really does look the same as on the Lonely Planet Guidebook.) An absolute must if in the area. Get there early to avoid the crowds - we arrived at 8am and there was nobody at all. The early morning sun also really added to the atmosphere. We also took out a traditional Balinese (a jakung) for 50,000R - it was so peaceful and we were the only people on the lake. Amazing.
(7) This is the second time I have visit this place. The view was so amazing. We have enjoyed the great view a long the landscape garden. There also have some souvenir store to shop at the entrance. Based on my personal feel, this is the place must visit when go to Bali.
(8) It's located on North Denpasar, always rainy day along journey. Bring your jacket or umbrella if needed. Public toilet not really clean.
(9) First we would not go due to the horror stories on the web. But if you do normal, nothing will happen. It is a nice place to see and cheap for 80k.
(10) Leo is based in Bualu Village just around the corner from the Novotel Nusa Dua. His vehicle is a modern air conditioned APV. His prices are reasonable, he speaks good english & he is very trustworthy.\n\nLeo came to our rescue when we had the misfortune to be ripped off when exchanging some currency. Upon hearing what had happened he took us to the Police, spoke on our behalf, & we recovered the 1.5mio rupiah that had been stolen from us.\n\nIf you want a driver that is reliable, honest & not pushy call Leo Mobile 081 338 543 148
(11) Cleen well ran and moneys well behaved. Gives a spiritual feeling.good foot wear is recommend in some parts\n
(12) There is a market area and plenty of food and shopping options and areas to relax and take in the amazing scenery. You cant help but be pic happy here.
(13) You will never have a bad view of the sunset with incredible rock formation in the background... So many people that I may say this must be a place to visit once you get to Bali. Make sure that you have a way back to your hotel otherwise you willing pay triple from a local taxi.
(14) It's really a nice place and a must visit while you in Bali, try to come over in early morning like 8 or 7 AM much recommend to avoid the crowned, it's really a different feeling experiences, I have come several time morning, noon and evening ,perhaps morning is the most quite and sincerity of the area but if you wish to catch up a sunset just be sure you are fine with crowd
(15) Go first thing in the morning and you'll have the place to yourself. So much fun, and the scenery is breathtaking. Really wonderful and extremely cheap to get in!
(16) I wanted to visit this place because it looked so pretty on my travel book cover. The day I visited it was cloudy and spitting with rain. Which kind of made it look really spooky and secretive. Especially it being on the lake. The clouds were beautifully covering the tops of the mountains. Beautiful! Bit of a trek up steep hills but a must see!
(17) My boyfriend and I visited June 2016, no wow factor necessarily but very cool to see and take a few photos of. Maybe we missed something at the site, but there was nothing else to see or do other than take a photo then get out the way of the queue of tourists.
(18) This was one of the stops I was most looking forward to and I wish we spent more time here. Beautiful, peaceful, and larger than I expected. We were there around noon and there was a pretty big crowd but there was also a couple ceremonies going on.
(19) So romantic and lovely to visit , beautiful shoot to do, and beautiful place to visit around and strawberry to buy
(20) Lots going on, many facilities for food, drinks, and activities. Easy to stroll most areas with some quiet spots and some very active. A great mix.
(21) We took a taxi there and had the driver wait for us. You dont need a guide here. We went for a walk during the day. Amazing views!!!! Have heard it should be even nicer for sunsets.
(22) This is a spectacular view point. Best time to visit is after 5.00 pm. Beautiful sunset. You need to be careful with monkeys. Don't use sun glasses, hats, careful with water bottles too.One side a Temple to see and other side a beautiful View point. You can take lot of beautiful pics in this place.
(23) This is a great spot to watch the sunset. You can also relax and unwind with a beer or just simply watch the waves crashing against the rocks. I lost myself for a good while here!
(24) once a nice hidden spot, now crowded of vendor, pseudochiringuitos dirt, [people asking money also to breath.. only nice? sunset.. still a wow..
(25) We visited during peak holiday season so 'crowded' is an understatement. But we had a nice time. It as clear blue water, white sands, and the lot. There was little protection from the sun so we rented a spot (a large umbrella and two of those chair-thingy where you can lie down and take a nap) for IDR 50.000,- and also rented a canoe and two life jackets for the same price. Roasted corn on the cob was IDR 8.000,- each. It was nice.
(26) I have enjoyed my stay there for 14 days, i would come anytime back again :) Was a wonderful location in Bali !
(27) It looked like a lot of fun but definitely like it would be busy and crowded. A lot of hotels spilled directly onto it. Also a lot of stalls for local tourist knick knacks.
(28) One of our favorite places to go in Bali. Nice view and make sure you bring your camera for taking pictures
(29) Lots and lots of tourists in July but early in the morning its beautiful! Be careful though, I heard lots of stories of accidents their becaue people go too close to the edge for selfies and get pulled in by big waves! : (
(30) You can go during sunset and jam with the crowd who are there for sunset photos... or you can go earlier in the day when it's more peaceful, less people and have some nice photos taken without too many people in your background. It takes 30 mins in and out if you go during the earlier part of the day, and I still felt it was a lovely visit. Worth going for it. After that, you can always stop for a nice grilled corn and some fresh coconut water.
(31) There are so many people here and a small town of tourist shops to support. If this is part of a tour package then OK to visit but don't make a special trip. We left before the sunset with the crowds still streaming in and the traffic was already bad.
(32) It is not only good for a breath taking view but for an adventure.it can be said a kind of adventure.only if we are fit enough,we will get the full satisfaction offered by the place. Most people enjoy having their photos taken as there is no place like this we can get our bestie
(33) Visited here as part of a day trip around northern Bali. A nice location full of instagrammers however and slightly chilly. Wouldnt go back if in the area but glad we went
(34) It's really best place of worlds,we are neverever see the place like Klingking beach really nice view and romantic place \nAlso nice pre-wedding
(35) environment not to crowd and just 5 mins from the hotel\nstaff were so nice and everything is good\ndisliked is many street seller
(36) Not to many hassles from people selling stuff, great place to relax good food 🥘 around.\nVery clean.
(37) dissapointed with this. Overcrowded noisy and not value for money or particularly nice. Save your money for other places
(38) Beautiful place but the commercial part is taking it over unfortunately... Be there around sunset and take pictures all the way!!!
(39) The best holiday erver amazing place to visit . We really enjoyed our time here , I highly recommend it
(40) Worth a trip for a look we hired a buggy and had a drive to it, few street sellers but not much else there.
(41) Highly recommended! the view is a breath taking and so peaceful but not for so long as you'll be harassed by street touts who doesn't take No for an answer! but don't let them ruin it for you.
(42) You definitely want to watch sunset when u are in bali. The view and the breathe are fantastic. U can enjoy the wind and the view. I was there the other day to witness the sunset and i am blessed that i was here. Its a place that you want to be at least once in ur lifetime.
(43) Nice experience with professional guide, really care with visitors and they are so friendly, this place are huge but dont worry about that you will not get lost cause they will escort you to the place that you want to go \nThanks Putri for your information and help for sure I will come back soon 🙏🏻
(44) Ok, but probably better on a rough day. Be careful not to fall in. I heard a few horror stories about people taking selfies there and ending up badly injured.
(45) We had a driver all day who took us here. The view was spectacular however the road needs improving, given the large of amount of daily traffic to this special tourist attraction.
(46) Really nice place to enjoy sunset. Great place to take picture. To go there it is recommended by motorbike. Because the road is not too big.
(47) Not and amazing thing to do and see but it was relaxing when the local people didn't harass you to buy over priced goods
(48) Very busy and filled with rude selfie takers. I was hoping for more history. Other reviews kept mentioning the long walks... it really wasn't a long walk at all. Beautiful views and it was funny watching the monkey's steal the shoes and glasses from people who didn't bother reading the signs.
(49) Beautiful relaxing place to visit. Food, drinks, entertainment right there, no need to wander any further!
(50) It's a very beautiful place and must see, but crowded in the evening.\nYou pay small enterance fee to get in.
(51) Great views and experience. beautiful long drive to get to the top. There are sarongs to hire at the entrance
(52) Although a bit overcrowded during evenings, this place offers one of the most scenic views in Bali! Highly recommend dropping in a couple minutes before the sunset to reserve a good spot for yourself to capture the splendid views!!
(53) Touristic must see, but for me too touristic, there are way better places to see. Get driver and car or scooter and explore yourself.
(54) Definitely worth a visit and also the roads to there are actually quite good and not as bumps as others. We did have a local follow us down to try and make a few dollars off us, but we just ignored him.
(55) Nice view, kind people, wonderful ceremony, I like the lake, walkable distance, fresh air, it is the best place for photography
(56) Amazing! The sunset incredibly fantastic with so many services offered by the locals. Way to explore and enjoy that part of Bali.
(57) Nice place with a lot of history~~\nOne of the top spots to visit in Bali~~\nNice spots for pictures~~
(58) Beautiful place! A must go place to go when you are in Bali. There are Photographer around to take your pics and print it out in a nice tanah lot frame which cost 20k rupiah. So we got 2!hehehe
(59) It was worth to see it. Very picturesque! Come there only first part of the day, don't stay for sunset. And choose the place far away from the center, because is very crowded. And leave in time before the crowd move.
(60) Nice view but too dirty. We passes all our days in the pool of our hotel. Nice restaurants and cafe.
