(1) Very peaceful and beautiful place. Be careful of the locals outside who try to offer you stuff - they dont take no for an answer.
(2) This is a must place to visit in Bali. Especially at Sunset. Would go again.\nAfter a busy day, it was nice to sit and watch the sunset.
(3) Another place in Bali that has been pretty well ruined by Instagram. It used to be so tranquil and relaxing, now the pond area near the entrance is awash with crowds trying to get photos of themselves standing on the stepping stones. Yuck! The rest of the grounds are very nice and less crowded, and I guess if you went early morning or late afternoon (open 08:00 to 18:00 daily) you wouldnt have to compete with the hordes.
(4) A little touristy, but a must if you are with kids, or even without. Not a long walk but is a beautiful walk.
(5) hundreds of people waiting for the sunset to shoot the perfect picture - not sure when to go in order to avoid huge crowds - worthwhile though
(6) Must go place. The scenery is wonderful. The weather is the best. The scenery is a must see. Very memorable picture something i will not be forgetting for a long time.
(7) Some very nice sights. One amazing artist there that runs a studio. I took their number to have some artwork posted to the UK but somehow lost it, unfortunately.\n\nThe toilets are rancid but I mean what can you do. \n\nReally nice chilled spot, great for photos and long walks.
(8) We came here to take pre-wedding photoshoot and was shocked by the entrance fees! It costs us IDR 500.000 just to enter and take photos in a PUBLIC area! This is ridiculous and I believe that my driver made a peg with the staff who issues the ticket there. I overheard their secret conversation that they are agreeing to spilt 250k with each other! What a daylight robbery! I have no evidence to raise my case but only to grit my teeth and move on. \nIDR 500k is a lot and can worth up to 2 month salaries of a local Balinese! The charges is a daylight robbery. Is that how Bali wants to portray itself as the world's destination? When tourists come to take their wedding photo, aren't they promoting Bali as well? This is a win win situation and the government should seriously to look into this matter. They should encourage tourists to come, not drive them away. \n\nFor those of you who wish to take wedding photos at the Pandawa Beach, think twice. I believe that there are many more beautiful beaches in the world that one can \share the nature\" for free."
(9) This place is good for a 20 minute stop over. Over priced restaurants, dingy, not picturesque. If you are at the Movenpick, it's well worth the walk. The stroll from the Movenpick is 5 minutes and gives one a warm and fussy at peace feel. Stay on the path ?
(10) the foods taste good, but the services for the locals are bad. its like they didnt want us to eat there.\n\nyou can feel how they choose to discriminate locals from foreign tourist, maybe because ussually they didnt give tips for waitress or band. and the foods is over priced. \n\ncome and see by yourself about this.. \n\ni will never eat there again, and i will tell all my relatives about this.
(11) We had a beautiful clear day so the views were amazing. The trip from Canggu was long but our driver took us to many amazing places along the way.
(12) Good place for sunset, nice location,\nAvoid afternoon times :gets extremely hot.\nThey are quite strict with their traditions- no one is allowed inside without the traditional attire .
(13) Thr food is nice. Gust De is a good man of here . My husband very like here and beautiful restaurant very enjoy here. ☺️☺️☺️
(14) A top spot for every turist in bali.not much to do just walk around and pictures.nice place nice views.go early.in the afternoon its realy crowded(and the trafic until the site is awfol because everibody wath to go and see sunset)
(15) I think that this is a good place to take photo.\nBut there is little shadow place and too hot.\nTherefore, I would like to recommend you to go there at sunset time.\nI heard that the sunset scene is very nice.
(16) well worth the visit, wether you go by bus or with a private guide the views are worth it, make it a day trip and have lunch at the restaurant with a view Busy but well serviced and great selection of food to cater all tstes
(17) This place was beautiful it is a great place to take photos a lot of locals have there wedding photo taken at this palace as unlike other parts of Bali it is very quite and very clean. It is worth going for half day trip dont forget the camera.
(18) Well worth a visit, very good for adults and for kids. Would be hard to fill a day with it but easy for a few hours. Good value for money.
(19) Yes it's not big but they are trying to improve. Restaurant & facilities all very clean. Don't go there expecting a lot but it was still a good outing
(20) Stunning scenery bit I would recommend going early. We kept getting told off by tourists that we were in their photos. There are way too many people.
(21) My girlfriend and I were taken here by our driver during our stay in Bali. It was a beautiful spot, we watched sunset here, it was super crowded but well worth it. Watch out for pesky monkeys!
(22) Loved it and the shopping. Food was great. Very clean and an eatery every couple of metres. We had heard mixed reports but we were super impressed and made it a daily visit.
(23) Excellent. Definitely worth coming while in bali. Food and people were very nice.\n🌟 🤩 ⭐️ \nTrisna was our host
(24) Spent 2 hours here. Very nice location but loaded with people. This was our second visit because our friends wanted to see it. One visit is enough & it is also place you cold skip. Just OK, not great.
(25) Great experience!\nDownside is that many tourists come here in large groups which disturbs the experience a bit.\n
(26) Really cool place to visit. Be aware that there will be hordes of tourists here (mainly obnoxious Chinese..) I hear its cool to visit during sunset.
(27) Went there with my girlfriend and spend a couple of hours here. Local people are so friendly and they offered some stuff with reasonable price. Worth to visit.
(28) Loved it beautiful bit of paradise and tranquility. Favourite place in Bali at the mo. Lovely place people reminds us of Bali of old times
(29) Beautifull.... One of the best views I've seen in my life! There is many \cafe\" where you can buy drinks and foods.\n\nFix the road please.."
(30) I was disappointed and would otherwise be the price of admission, which is not cheap, with even raincoats. if it rains you do not have nowhere to go under the roof
(31) Its a holy place. The location is very scenic. Good for photographers. Closing time is 7pm so go before that. Sunset view is awesome.
(32) We spent a few days here in our travels. With everything from amazing eateries fun water sports and beautiful sunsets this is a must see and play please while in Bali
(33) Wow! You really feel a sense of tranquillity when you visit here. Yes there are hoarders but once you say a firm \no\" to them, you can freely roam around and take in the beauty of this place."
(34) Very nice view and definitely worth a visit, but photo taking of the clear view may be difficult as there were a lot of people fishing along the lake and some peddling boats.
(35) A great time only 25000 each to enter got the sens hotel transport walked back but first a coffee just round the corner going up monkey forest road on the right side we had a thunder storm so it ended up 2 coffees. Walk up the road heading towards the market some very nice shops.
(36) Great place where many people who choose to make their life in Bali live and surf. As a big meat consume the vegan and vegetarian food is some of the best in the world and restaurants of all types great value. Sometimes easier to walk than take a bike/taxi as much of the area is dissected by canals /rivers which means having to go quite far inland to cross bridges
(37) Great place, must visit if you are on Bali. Beautiful view, taking photo with snake and Tanah Lot in background.
(38) Full with tourist. The places is in well maintained. Got lots of souvenir and food stalls too. Scooter parking provided (pay Rp.3k) Toilet fee Rp.2k or 3k ~ can't remember.
(39) Lots of tourists from differents countries. The weather was hot, some tourists even brought umbrella. Enchanting views. A must spot if you visit Bali.
(40) So hard to find, havent seen any direction sign while driving buggy to go there, need to ask locals, and the road soooo bad. But it was worth when we arrived, luckily not many people there, very nice spot, but be careful of that nature powerful beauty
(41) So we walked all the way here from Jungutbatu (more than an hour's walk) to arrive at sunset as recommended by many reviewers. There were nice rocky pools, but unfortunately no spectacular spray or wave action, as the tides were too low a the waves didn't reach the rock pools. Quite a good view nevertheless, and there are some cool wave hewn caverns in the area. You can also walk to Sandy Bay for drinks - about 5 minutes walk.
(42) It's a beautiful sight but to get to this location, we passed loads of trash hills along the way which was really sad. Unfortunately, the only restaurant/ cafe next to this location doesn't share the same atmosphere as this gorgeous view...
(43) This area is my choice to stay in Bali if I still want to be close to the action yet want a more relaxed and quiet time as well.
(44) Went as part of the Bali intro group tour itinerary.. Had a lovely day, despite rainfall and busy crowds! \n\nDefinitely worth a trip if you're visiting Bali!
(45) This place was absolutely beautiful!!! Totally worth visiting, make sure you wear comfortable shoes since there are many hills and steps.
(46) This is a must do, so relaxing and loved the architecture..The restaurant overlooks the park and has lovely meals..
(47) Beautiful view great photos. More touristy than years ago but very friendly and clean ,has a few little shops ,eatery
(48) I was driven there by my friend Wayan on the very last day of my first trip to Bali.\nAfter paying the fee for the parking, we headed to the spot and it was just wonderful. Full of tourists but not loud at all. The view is spectacular! Special place not to be missed.
(49) Went for sunset but clouds hid the sun. However, still a beautiful place and photo opportunities everywhere you turn.
(50) The place is beautiful ..but nothing much to do here. If you want a place that can offer more activities ...this is not a place to go
(51) We whent here in search of finding are lost relatives ( no luck lol )\nPlace is nice lots to see and do\nAfternoons trips are much more relaxing as its not so hot,\nChildren would like this place\n\nTake plenty of bananas and enjoy the day
(52) Well worth a visit, beautiful scenery, photo opportunities around every corner, not very crowded can still get around easily
(53) It is a fairly nice place to take picture we went in the afternoon and quite hot. There are couple of places to take pictures vut I personally like to take it from the cafe side which not many tourists. If u want to engage the camera men to take picture for u fair price is 20k. Watch out for sunburn.
(54) Everyone should visit this place.... Me and my sister enjoyed together this place a lot... The view is excellent and a must visit place..... This place is just stunning....
(55) Been these late afternoon when we pass by. It has a really nice view by the lake and the clouds. If you are around, visit is worth a nice picture.
(56) Plenty to do here with eating places around, not always cleaned to perfection but worth a visit beware of sales touts which can be annoying
(57) Go there with the sunset, it is spectacular with the sunset. A lot of steps and short walk through a nice area. The views are amazing especially with the sunset.
(58) Meh! 😐 I am no Globetrotter but I have travelled the world fairly well and I do love I do love a beautiful sunset, yet this one will not rock my world for sure.\n\nBeen there, done that, didn't buy the t-shirt like the 3000 other people there.\n\nVerdict = Tourist trap.\n\nI am sure there are better places to watch a sunset in Bali and I will look for it next time here.
(59) Very good place to look for you in Bali, amazed and very naturally, we love it.
(60) Rented a golf cart and this was one of the stops. Easy to get to. Few little shops around that are cheap enough.
