(1) This place was extremely crowded. The seats are concrete open air area style and aren't comfortable; they also spray mosquito poison around dusk. The view and the dancers made it worthwhile.
(2) Errrrmmm..... I guess you kinda gotta go and its 'scenic' enough I suppose...but everything here is a battle/struggle/exercise in frustration....take the obligatory happy snaps a go....go quickly; at least as fast as the traffic snarls will allow.... Bali has much much more to offer than this
(3) It's been beautiful I love it..Hope to comeback again next time..I never been such a place. Like this true beauty of nature..\n
(4) Very nice to walk along past some other very nice hotels and you may also see a couple of weddings along the way
(5) Just go, a must see. Taxis are cheap, use balitourexperiences.com ask for PuTu he was great and knows all the top sites like this.
(6) It's very nice when you go to see sunset or evening. the blue sky is so clear wind too. in near they have place to walking around.
(7) Its a great lookout spot for the sunset! A must see sight when visiting. it's a nice view and with the waves crashing it can be spectacular. Well worth a visit.
(8) Its a cute way to spend an hour but dont know if Id ever do it again. I went in the middle of the day - would reccomend going first thing to avoid the big crowds
(9) Arrived on the clear day! And enjoy the greatest crater in Bali. Try to arrive before noon time (before clouds covering the view)
(10) Very romantic place to be. Cool and calm weather. Took the speed boat across the lake. Was simply superb. Nice lawn to take rest. Really enjoyed the time here.
(11) This is one of the major tourist attractions and a lot of tourists come here to watch the sunset. Entrance fee is 30 K (2 euros) per person, and facilities are poor. Toilets are 3 K (0.2 euros), but without flush (you have to take pot of water and flush yourself!), there is garbage on the ground and nobody caries to pick it up. The views are stunning, but infrastructure needs to be improved.
(12) Very nice and Amazing place. Next time I will go there with my family. Sunset is very nice view there
(13) Visited this place today it was amazing , great value for money and loads to see and do. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very nice, if I ever get the chance to come back to bali again from the uk I definitely would like to try and visit this place again as their is more building work and expansion going on
(14) a bit scary to go down but it is amazing to make it. Definitely recommend to come. Need to improve some security for tourists
(15) The ttraction itself is beautiful! BUT the shops, businesses, etc around it is only annoying and reduces the overall atmosphere.... But still 4 stars for a wonderful location. We drove on our own to Tanah lot, easy, quick - no problems...
(16) It has a really good view but it's overcrowded, not worth it if you don't have a lot of time in bali, you can get to see great views elsewhere..avoid the kecak fire dance, it's terrible
(17) Loved visiting here, the views were spectacular. So glad we went, the day we chose to go was excellent sunny but slightly overcast with a good wind which really helped in the usual Bali heat! Beautiful place.
(18) Unfortunately extremely touristic, and best visited at sunset (not so many people and beautiful light) ! A must see.
(19) Excellent place to visit, beautiful atmosphere.\nDon't miss the restaurant Subak just few mins walk from the car park..
(20) I guess they're too used to tourists. Make sure you don't have anything unpacked that they can reach, or it could turn funny.
(21) Loved coming here, it had been a few years back. Since then, the park has been renovated and has become really beautiful.
(22) Probably one of the most known places in Bali and also one of the nicest. Definitively it's worth a visit. The only issue: it's CROWDED, especially on the sunsets, so get ready for lot of sellers & tourist around.
(23) Lovely place to spend afternoon. Price was good 50k for one. Too much rubbish, if you bring your rubbish, please take them with you!
(24) Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Loved the local cafes and restaurants. and local markets. People very friendly and didn't hassel you too much
(25) Not very recommended just a standart place, not very beautiful. I would recommend to go there at sunset
(26) Beautiful area! Great place to see sunset, weather permitting. Very crowded on weekends. Great driver with Bali Sun Tours - Luhur! Try the klepon!! 😋
(27) This place was a circus and luckily we had avoided the sunset peak time. We had been meaning to go here after many years as it was one of the touristy places. It is off the main route so that in itself is a nuisance. Too many tourists, not much to look at, a lot of opportunities to buy more gifts. Don't waste your time.
(28) Great sunset and awesome view. Get there early to explore the market and get a good seat to enjoy the sunset. Highly recommend. A must when in Bali.
(29) What a waste of time and money. Over crowded. Under serviced and way over priced. What a total disappointment.
(30) This has to be one of the most beautiful sights ever its something every one who visits Bali has to see
(31) Great place for kids. Have lots to see. Strongly recommend for family with kids as it will be an eye opener for the young ones. It can get ready hot in the afternoon though and my daughter fell down and hit her head due to uneven steps at almost the feeding area near the exit. \n\nKids below 3 are foc. I didnt know and purchased my tickets online as its cheaper
(32) All in all, it is a beautiful place to visit if there is not too many people around.\n\nOn sundays, this place is just a mess. I would recommend going only on weekdays.
(33) This is a very very nice place to have your photo taken and just to see it but you have to get here early we got there early and we were still Number 36 in line to take your photo in the gate with the mirror effect under you but it is worth it its such a beautiful and unique place
(34) We came here by May 2013.There were crowding and busy place. The view is wonderful,a good photo shot spot.
(35) Stay in 221 homestay, reach there within 8 minutes. Morning, too much tour group to visit tis place. Afternoon same too but after 3pm, propel less and less. Is a very suit place n beautiful natural view.
(36) Went here as part of a day sightseeing trip, \nLooks amazing with the waves crashing against the rocks and for the all important sunset was just beautiful.
(37) sunset is the best time to go there and spend time for while so you'll see the beautiful sunset with the stunning waves
(38) Beautiful place to stroll around and make some pictures. Perfect in low season. Very well maintained. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
(39) It was really really crowded, but in the same time it's huge so you have where to go and see the views. The show at sunset it's not nice, doesn't worth it
(40) Nothing really special but a great place for meditating and having a good time. It was raining when we went there and it actually added to the beauty.\n
(41) Nothing great, just waste of money. Do not carry anything other than camera.\nPlace is not well worth against the heavy entry fees charged.
(42) Go here before 12 noon as after that there will be many tourist visiting for pictures. Overall the place is great, but as the tourist crowd expect many photo bomb 😁, beware if you bring drone, the splash may be very high and sudden.
(43) We were here time of sunset and It was so beautiful. Sea and temle and the sun together. \nOlimme täällä auringonlaskun aikaan ja kyllä oli upeaa; aurinko, meri ja temppeli. Ja paljon ihmisiä.
(44) Fantastic views and the best photos ever! This was a great place to take in the spectacular scenery.
(45) $6 per person to walk through a market street and risk slipping over just to take a photo. Do yourself a favour and enjoy the free photos on Google. Way over commercialized.
(46) Good destination for a few days if passing through. Local government together with hotels needs to try to tackle the issue otherwise people will stop coming.
(47) Great setup and all the staff was amazing!! 🥰 clean and well taken care of! Affordable and we could have spent hours there! Close to the main roads as well and restaurants / shopping :)
(48) Beautiful place, very relaxing when walking around. Not many people there which was good. Plenty of places to stop for a drink or food
(49) This place has really boomed since I was here last and really catering to a hipster culture but keeping some of its traditional identity with the rice paddies and local architecture. Next time we come here I think we will base ourselves here as it is good for the family and still has the buzz.
(50) Beautiful sunset!!! Loved watching the big waves crashing and seeing local Balinese families enjoying the beach/offering blessings. Don't miss the sunset - its magical.
(51) This place has a beautiful sunset, the lake is beautiful.\nBut a lot of locals will pact this place, especially on a public holiday.
(52) Nothing special and impressive but the place is nice (in comparison to other Bali \attractions\") and good for relaxation stroll."
(53) We went to view the sunset on our last evening in Bali, and it didn't disappoint.\nLots of people but it didn't feel crowded at all.
(54) Sunsets are great but during the day the place gets so crowded that I'd stay away. Go early in the morning (like 7am-8am) if you insist on seeing it during the daylight.
(55) This place is enigma, Its beautiful & mesmerizing. You are forced to think how can a human make such wonders that too centuries ago. Must visit place dusing Bali visit.
(56) Very crowded. They have to keep the are clean. Trash everywhere. I planed to enjoy the sunset there, but my mood changed because of the cleanliness. Im not taking pictures from this place.
(57) This is a very good tourists attracting point with good food and nice looks around.\nThe place treats all kinds of tourists to its core.
(58) My family and I had an amazing day when we booked a tour with Nyoman from Bali Bliss Tours to see this amazing place. Its fantastic to have a local guide to look after you, while you are exploring this wonderful place. You can spend hours here, there is so much to see. Its worth a look !!
(59) The sun set there is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Allow time to explore the whole of it, and go to the middle branch when the sun is down, hundreds of bats come out of the caves and it's the best spot to see it.
(60) Loved this place. Tranquil, picturesque, colourful, photo-scenic, quite stunning. Well worth a visit.
