(1) This is an unique must see experience. Although there were many visitors the crowd management was excellent. Very well organised
(2) Best sunset spot ever. Please arrive here about 4-5 pm. You'll get best golden moment. Be careful of monkey they still ur things. Avoid shining/glitter, sunglasses, plastic bag.
(3) Great spot to view the sunset. Clean and not too crowded. Plenty of space to move around, or too place ball. Family friendly.
(4) We arrived at around 11am and it was rammed with tourists - go early or late to get it to yourself. It's a good fun spot to spend a little while though, and I hear it's great at sunset?
(5) Been here a few times....a must for a first timer.....good to,see it hasn't changed in 15 years.......the babies are just beautiful....not good if you have mobility issues...my elderly mother found the steps difficult....like many attractions in Bali....steps and slopes.....great for everyone else....only 20,000 rupiah entry, can't complain about the price
(6) Definitely worth a visit with its scenary.\nSome moneys were aggressive, but human behavior is partly to blame.
(7) Liked this, will go back and spend more time when I went to go back. chill spot in the forest, the real thing, all natural and respected and worshipped, must go.
(8) Nice specily in the location and the view. A litte bit boring for one and half hours performance. Overall recomanded.
(9) Picture perfect, a place postcards are made. Enjoy the locals selling you craft or simply tell them no thank you. No need to be rude they are only trying to feed the family.
(10) Even it was cloudy that day but we still love the place and the view. We went on friday so lets say it was weekend but still can take some pictures if we patient enough to wait. People took pics of the view might takes like 5 minutes long not more hahaha\nThe entrance fee is idr 50.000 for adults and around idr 30.000 i guess for kids. Not bad :) \nBtw, have to becareful with ur belongings because the monkeys there likes to take something from the visitors and they came so very fast.
(11) A must see.\nWhat an amazing peaceful place to go.\nSuch awesome views and GORGEOUS sunsets to see.\nMy partner paid $10 'S to hold a 50kg Python.\nWe tried the holly water and checked out the Tunah Lot markets.
(12) Great spot to visit....not a lot of amenities but a great view of nature at her best...worth a stop 🤓
(13) Great experience, we were only there for about 30/40 minutes as we've got young children and it was a hot day. The kids loved it, we enjoyed it. Well worth a visit if our in the area, also cheap to get in.
(14) Nothing to dislike really. Very pretty and tranquil. A lot of work has been done over the years to restore it to it's former glory. The restaurant food is rather good too. Certainly worth a visit.
(15) What can I say...this place is brilliant and the other reviews say it all really. Top tip...go early to avoid the crowds.
(16) This is a beautiful place and just a couple dollars so, if you're in the neighborhood, take the time to stop by.
(17) This is without any doubt a must see place while being in Bali ! Went there in the morning with arrival around 10:20am. You can not avoid people, but I think there was less compared with the afternoon for the sunset - can highly recommended this time a day for this trip. The water is also low during daytime (of course unless the weather is bad). \nLuck was on my side and the weather was great so were able to go on the other side, but the entire place is just magnificent. \nCan even recommend it if the weather is bad, you can still get great photos there.\n\nIf you don't go you will truly miss on something spectacular!\n\nLocal shops around are enjoyable as well and the price can be bargained.
(18) Man, this place is beautiful. Spend 3 hours just taking pics. The cool breeze, the mountain, the lake ... just unbelievable. Entry fee IDR 50,000 was well worth it.
(19) I love this place! It was just so beautiful! This is one place I would go again! But...the kids got a bit bored.
(20) Very busy when we were there and everyone trying to get the perfect photo. The Cafe at front entrance had a queue a mile long service was terrible. I would think twice about going back
(21) Such a beautiful place and so peaceful here. Lots of art displayed and not crowded. \nGlad I made it here.
(22) We enjoyed going here by ourselves seeing other more local parts of Bali driving here. It's to some extent a touristrap but the view is great if your lucky with the weaher!
(23) amazing scenery, great restaurants outside for the most authentic experience. the views of the water and the huge khoi fish are breath taking.
(24) You need 5-10 mins walk from car park to have a good view. This place still completely perfect. You can take picture from the Top to get the best view. However there are a lot of tourists.\n\nRECOMMEND : \n1.To bring umbrella with you and ware the comfortable suit because it is very hot.\n2. To have local guide, it is easy for you to reach many places such as Kelingling beach, Broken Beach, Crystal Bay and Angel Billabong because mobile signal is not quite good for using GPS
(25) Was extremely busy when I visited, but a must do in Bali, beautiful views and picture perfect. Highly recommend
(26) This is a must see in Bali. The location is stunning with a great view of the sunset. Of course the place is very crowded and you may stay trapped in the parking lot after the sunset. Try to anticipate your exit from the place.
(27) Put this place on your must visit list. Have been here numerous times and has never disappointed. Can be busy but worth the wait.
(28) If you're on the fence going here, please GO at sunset!! The view is absolutely epic and the waves come crashing in by the force of God. We were absolutely mesmerized by it and we've travelled a lot! It's a wonderful place to take photos and videos. Don't forget to check out the market (which we had no idea even existed!) and there's a little coffee place where you can try luwak coffee (aka \cat-poo-cino\"). This coffee is one of the most expensive coffee beans in the world. The Luwak, which sort of resembles a cat, eats the coffee cherry, partially digests it and poops out the coffee bean. It's cleaned and the coffee is actually pretty darn good believe it or not!"
(29) We were there in the month of January, the place is stunning and picturesque. It is rightly been made the mascot of Bali. You generally mornings are more fun because of less crowds. But one can choose to spend a quite a afternoon here as well.
(30) I like it very much. Amazing and clean place😊Monkeys are awesome 😃 They can also aggressive, so don't bring food with you.
(31) Great setting in beautiful grounds a nice walk from Ubud. Would visit again, lots of spas and restaurants close by to enjoy afterwards :)
(32) We like the peacefulness there, beautiful scenery, cool breeze, smooth sand. You won't get bunch of people lying around in the background of your photos. LOL
(33) This road is my favorite shopping destination. Great shops, plenty of places to eat , more laid back and relaxed..
(34) Great place to check out. Highly recommend as part of a stay in Ubud. Very inexpensive and great place to take pictures!!
(35) We just managed to get here in time for the sunset which is the best time of day to see it. Entrance fee was 20000 rupiah (about £1gbp). You can also get blessed and go inside but I think access was limited so we didn't bother. It was quite busy, lots of tourists but worth the visit. Some good shops on the way to it which have some traditional souvenirs at quite good value, you can barter too.
(36) By far , one of the most spectacular sunsets I have seen in years.....Great location.....Great restaurants nearby.....just absolutely tranquil...peaceful.....makes you feel like you are part of a bigger picture in life.
(37) Oh my god! Its beautiful and really nice view! We went there the weather its hot and humid but its ok.we love it!
(38) When there for sunset view, the place crowded with tourist. Must lock and take care well d scooter if you are using it. Good scenery overall!
(39) It's the best because of the sheer touristy feeling of being enveloped around hundreds of 5star properties and good crowd. And thats also why it's the costliest!
(40) We didn't stay here but visited the place on a day trip. The view was spectacular. The kids get to go for a swim. The water was cold and refreshing. We also had our lunch there. Food was good. While taking our own sweet time for lunch we also checked out the rooms there. They are quite impressive but I personally find them rather expensive. Suitable for those who come here for honeymoon. While eating lunch we also saw a local newly wed couple taking photos on the grounds. It was an enjoyable trip.
(41) Incredible. A must see! The views are magnificent. I imagine sunset would be an ideal time. We went mid day... Great light for photos and uncrowded.
(42) Let's join with us and you will find a lot beautiful destination in bali and a local driver will give a good serve to you
(43) We didn't make in time for the sunset but it was still a beautiful view. It was quite cold and there were loads of people. The path to the attraction from the parking lot is lined with shopping stalls and restaurants.
(44) One of the beautifull place in Bali. It's very good for relaxing in the morning. Also good for jogging or cycling. So fresh....
(45) There's not a lot to see, but worth a single journey. Tourists swarm over the place like ants, so difficult to get decent photos without dozens of them in the frame. Parking was a problem, and the long crawl home was just that, a crawl. There are many nicer, less crowded places to visit, but, as I say, probably worth it, just to say you've been.
(46) We visited here for the sunset and we booked a driver and paid the entrance fee ourself, total cost was 350,000 for a driver and entrance was 45,000 for 2 people and parking. It is beautiful to see and there is so many great places to take pictures. We went in low season and it was busy so I can't imagine what it would be like in high season.
(47) Nice to see and obviously a must when visiting Bali if only to tick it off your list but very touristy. Lots of market stalls along the way.
(48) The Trip was good but a lot (a lot) of tourists and very small roads, passages. Very crowded but a place to visit in ubut
(49) Didn't like the way the restaurant waiters/waitresses ignoring you just because they are very full. They will act busy instead of clearing the table simply because they are closing soon.
(50) This place was insane, and slightly terrifying! I'd suggest going early to beat all of the tourists as it does get very busy!
(51) See main review regarding substandard facility definitely not 4 star....we would only rate it as 2 star.
(52) Visited as part of an independent day trip!\n\nBeautiful place, we were lucky to visit when there was a local ceremony going on which was fascinating to watch. It is a very peaceful place and picturesque, ideal for taking those memorable holiday snaps!
(53) One of the most beautifull place i've ever seen. Unless access to go there isn't good. But i rate 5stars for this place 🇮🇩🤘
(54) Crawling with tourists who only cared about taking good vacation pics, like 50 selfies in a row. Scenery was beautiful tho. It was a one time experience for me, I wouldn't come back.
(55) Still a nice visit for the scenery and great pictures can be taken here. Go before noon to avoid tourist crowd.
(56) Well worth a visit! But I have to say it can get pretty crowded depending on when you go. Good thing though that it was quite some big space to walk around and look at everything.
(57) A great place to relax. Should that be here to visit. Enjoy the wildlife alone or with company. Highly recommended for relaxation.
(58) This place is pure beauty. Another wonder that mother nature has to offer ;) Energetic and breathtaking.\nCAUTION: avoid going down, it is very dangerous. One bad step and consequences can be terrible. Better to enjoy the view from top because a place like this doesnt worth it to enjoy it under stress. Otherwise you are more focused in the climb down and up, so whats the point? I had a really bad time because i didnt know how hard it was and needed to come back half way down (and i consider myself very adventurous btw :o). Enjoy the view!!
(59) Allways nice to visit, although sometimes very crowded. When we pass we look at the parking area. So we can tell if it is a good day for a walk there.
(60) Beautiful location but set up is quite poor. Unless you pay to get a guide, it's hard to know where to go and what everything is. Needs to be more signage explaining the history and pathways. Also very very hot and crowded, didnt fell like we could really appreciate the beauty or pay our respects.
